Claims (11)
- 전기적으로 연결되는 하나 이상의 배터리 셀을 포함하는 배터리 팩을 관리하기 위한 배터리 관리 시스템에 관한 것으로,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은,
상기 배터리 셀의 상태 정보를 측정하는 모니터링부; 및
상기 모니터링부로부터 상기 배터리 셀의 상태 정보를 수신받는 수신부, 상기 수신된 상기 배터리 셀의 상태 정보 값이 기설정 범위인지를 판단하는 판단부, 및 수신된 상기 배터리 셀의 상태 정보 값이 기설정 레벨 범위인 경우 해당 배터리 셀의 일정 충전량을 고의로 방전시키는 제어부를 포함하는 열화 관리부;를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 모니터링부는 상기 배터리 셀의 온도, 충전량, 및 배터리가 사용되지 않고 방치된 방치 기간을 측정하고,
상기 열화 관리부는 측정된 상기 배터리 셀의 온도, 충전량, 및 방치 기간에 따라 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 레벨 범위를 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,
상기 레벨 범위는 복수 개로 설정되며,
상기 열화 관리부의 판단부는 제1레벨 범위를 만족하여 상기 배터리 셀이 일정 충전량만큼 방전되면 제2레벨범위를 만족할 때까지 모니터링부에서 모니터링을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은,
상기 배터리 셀의 온도와 충전량을 각각 독립적으로 모니터링하고,
각각의 배터리 셀이 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 레벨 범위를 만족하는지 여부를 판단하고, 배터리 셀 각각의 방전동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은,
상기 배터리 셀의 온도와 충전량을 각각 독립적으로 모니터링하고,
전체 배터리 셀의 온도와 충전량의 평균값을 기준으로 배터리 셀을 방전시키는 레벨 범위를 만족하는지 여부를 판단하고, 방전동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은,
상기 배터리 셀로부터 방전된 에너지를 차량 내부에 설치된 전자기기를 작동하는데 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템을 이용한 배터리 관리 방법에 있어서,
상기 배터리 셀의 온도, 충전량, 방치 기간을 측정하는 모니터링 단계;
상기 모니터링 단계에서 측정된 값이 기설정된 레벨 범위를 만족하는 경우, 배터리 셀의 일정 충전량을 고의로 방전시키는 고온 노출 저장 방치 변경 레벨 단계; 및
상기 고온 노출 저장 방치 변경 레벨 단계에서 방전되는 상기 배터리 셀의 충전량을 측정하고 미리 설정된 충전량 이하로 측정될 경우 방전을 중단하는 안정화 레벨 복귀 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 관리 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 레벨 범위는,
배터리 셀의 온도, 배터리 셀의 충전량, 배터리 셀의 방치 기간을 기준으로 설정되며, 복수 개 설정 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 관리 방법은,
상기 레벨 범위가 설정된 개수만큼 반복되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 관리 방법은,
상기 배터리 관리 방법이 반복될 때마다 레벨 범위의 기준이 변경되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 방법.
- 제7항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 관리 방법은,
상기 배터리 셀로부터 방전된 에너지를 차량 내부에 설치된 전자기기를 작동하는데 이용하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 배터리 관리 방법.
