Claims (20)
- 제1 기판,
상기 제1 기판과 중첩하며 이격된 제2 기판,
상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 사이에 위치하며 액정 분자들을 포함하는 액정층,
상기 제1 기판과 상기 액정층 사이에 위치하는 제1 중합체층,
상기 제2 기판과 상기 액정층 사이에 위치하는 제2 중합체층,
상기 제1 중합체층과 상기 액정층 사이 및 상기 제2 중합체층과 상기 액정층 사이 중 적어도 하나에 위치하는 복수의 돌기를 포함하고,
상기 복수의 돌기는 반응성 메조겐의 중합체를 포함하며,
상기 제1 중합체층 및 상기 제2 중합체층은 하기 화학식 1-1 내지 1-14로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 화합물을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치:

상기 제1 기판과 액정층 사이에 위치하는 제1 전극; 및
상기 제2 기판과 액정층 사이에 위치하는 제2 전극을 더 포함하며,
상기 제1 중합체층과 상기 제2 중합체층은 각각 제1 전극 및 제2 전극과 결합하고 있는 액정 표시 장치. - 제5항에서,
상기 제1 중합체층과 상기 제1 전극의 결합 및 상기 제2 중합체층과 상기 제2 전극의 결합은 수소 결합인 액정 표시 장치. - 제6항에서,
상기 제1 중합체층의 Ra와 제1 전극이 수소 결합하고, 상기 제2 중합체층의 Ra와 제2 전극이 수소 결합하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에서,
상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 P1 , P2 또는 P3는, 인접한 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 P1 , P2 또는 P3와 중합되어 있는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에서,
상기 액정층 내에 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에서,
상기 액정 표시 장치는 폴리이미드 배향막을 포함하지 않는 액정 표시 장치. - 서로 마주보는 제1 기판 및 제2 기판을 준비하는 단계;
복수의 액정 분자, 반응성 메조겐 및 하기 화학식 1-1 내지 1-14로 이루어진 군으로로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 화합물을 포함하는 액정층을 상기 제1 기판 및 상기 제2 기판 사이에 형성하는 단계; 및
상기 제1 기판 및 상기 제2 기판에 전계 UV를 조사하는 단계를 포함하는
액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법:

상기 Ra와 제1 기판의 결합 및 상기 Ra와 제2 기판의 결합은 수소 결합인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법. - 제11항에서,
상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판에 전계 UV를 조사하는 단계에서,
화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 P1 , P2 또는 P3는, 인접한 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 P1 , P2 또는 P3와 중합되어 중합체층을 형성하는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법. - 제17항에서,
상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판에 전계 UV를 조사하는 단계에서,
상기 중합체층의 표면에 반응성 메조겐을 포함하는 돌기가 형성되는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법. - 제11항에서,
상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 함량은 전체 액정 조성물에 대하여 0.1 중량% 내지 2.0 중량% 사이인 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법. - 제11항에서,
상기 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법은 폴리이미드를 포함하는 배향막의 도포 및 건조 공정을 포함하지 않는 액정 표시 장치의 제조 방법.
