- 개인용 오디오 디바이스에 있어서:
개인용 오디오 디바이스 하우징(housing);
상기 하우징에 결합된 변환기(transducer)로서, 청취자에 대한 재생용 소스 오디오 신호 및 상기 변환기의 음향 출력에서의 주변 오디오 사운드들의 효과들에 대응하기 위한 잡음 방지 신호 둘 모두를 포함하는 오디오 신호를 재생하기 위한, 상기 변환기;
상기 하우징에 결합되어, 상기 주변 오디오 사운드들을 나타내는 기준 마이크로폰 신호를 제공하기 위한 기준 마이크로폰;
상기 변환기에 근접하여 상기 하우징에 결합된 에러 마이크로폰으로서, 상기 변환기의 음향 출력 및 상기 변환기에서의 상기 주변 오디오 사운드들을 나타내는 에러 마이크로폰 신호를 제공하기 위한, 상기 에러 마이크로폰; 및

상기 주변 오디오 사운드들을 나타내는 기준 마이크로폰 신호를 수신하기 위한 기준 마이크로폰 입력부;
상기 변환기의 출력 및 상기 변환기에서의 상기 주변 오디오 사운드들을 나타내는 에러 마이크로폰 신호를 수신하기 위한 에러 마이크로폰 입력부; 및
프로세싱 회로를 포함하고,
상기 프로세싱 회로는:
상기 기준 마이크로폰 신호로부터 잡음 방지 신호를 생성하는 응답을 가지는 적응형 필터로서, 상기 응답은 상기 기준 마이크로폰 신호 및 재생 정정 에러에 따라 형성되고, 상기 재생 정정 에러는 상기 에러 마이크로폰 신호와 부 경로 추정 사이의 차에 기초하는, 상기 적응형 필터;
상기 소스 오디오 신호의 전기 음향 경로를 모델링하고 상기 소스 오디오 신호로부터 상기 부 경로 추정을 생성하는 응답을 갖도록 구성된 부 경로 추정 필터;
상기 재생 정정 에러를 최소화하기 위해 상기 부 경로 추정 필터의 응답을 적응시킴으로써 상기 소스 오디오 신호 및 상기 재생 정정 에러에 따라 상기 부 경로 추정 필터의 응답을 형성하는 부 계수 제어 블록; 및
상기 소스 오디오 신호에 잡음 신호를 주입하기 위한 잡음 주입 부분으로서, 상기 잡음 신호는 상기 재생 정정 에러에 기초하여 형성되는, 상기 잡음 주입 부분을 포함하고,
상기 잡음 주입 부분은:
잡음 소스;
상기 잡음 소스로부터 상기 잡음 신호를 생성하고, 상기 재생 정정 에러에 따라 상기 잡음 신호를 형성하는 응답을 가지는 주파수 형성 필터; 및
상기 변환기에 의해 재생된 오디오 신호에서의 상기 잡음 신호의 가청성을 감소시키기 위해서, 상기 부 경로 추정 필터의 적어도 하나의 파라미터에 따라 상기 잡음 신호를 형성하는 필터를 포함하고,
상기 잡음 주입 부분의 응답은 상기 부 경로 추정 필터의 응답의 적어도 일부분의 반대인 응답을 포함하는, 집적 회로. - 제 15 항에 있어서,
