Claims (10)
- 터미널 조립체(150)에 있어서,
복수의 플랫 와이어(140) 및 상기 복수의 플랫 와이어를 위한 공통 재킷(160)을 갖는 다중 와이어 평면 케이블로서, 상기 재킷은 상기 다중 와이어 평면 케이블의 말단(158)에서 상기 플랫 와이어와 주위의 재킷 부분들을, 상기 플랫 와이어의 길이(182)를 연장시키는 분리된 재킷형 와이어 부분(166)들로 제어 분리하기 위하여 인접한 플랫 와이어들 사이의 그루브(168)를 가지며, 각 플랫 와이어는 절연 슬리브(180)와 플랫 와이어의 종단 말단(184)을 포함하고, 상기 플랫 와이어의 상기 종단 말단은 상기 절연 슬리브를 지나 노출된, 다중 와이어 평면 케이블(118); 및
대응하는 플랫 와이어의 종단 말단에 부착된 터미널(142)을 포함하며,
상기 절연 슬리브(180)와 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 종단 말단(184) 각각은 상기 종단 말단들이 서로 동일 평면 상에 있지 않도록 비틀어진 터미널 조립체(150). - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 상기 종단 말단(184)은 접어져 이중 층 부분(220)을 형성하며, 상기 이중 층 부분은 압착 배럴(156) 내에 수용되고 상기 터미널(142)에 압착되어 있는 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 압착 배럴(156)은 개방 말단(210), 폐쇄 말단(212) 및 이들 사이의 측면 벽면(214, 216)을 포함하며, 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 에지(194, 196)가 개방 말단과 폐쇄 말단을 향하도록 그리고 압착되기 전에 플랫 와이어의 편평한 측면(204, 206)이 측면 벽면을 향하도록 상기 이중 층 부분(220)이 상기 압착 배럴 내에 수용되는 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 종단 말단(184)은 오목한 형상으로 접어지고 압착 배럴(156) 내에 수용되는 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 압착 배럴(156)은 개방 말단(210), 폐쇄 말단(212) 및 이들 사이의 측면 벽면(214, 216)을 포함하며, 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 상기 종단 말단(184)은 편평한 상부 측면(190), 편평한 하부 측면(192) 그리고 이들 사이의 대향하는 제1 및 제2 에지(194, 196)를 갖고, 상기 에지는 오목한 형상을 한정하도록 위로 접혀 양 에지는 상기 플랫 와이어의 최상부에 배치되며, 압착되기 전에 에지가 압착 배럴의 상기 개방 말단을 향하도록 종단 말단이 상기 압착 배럴 내에 수용되는 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 플랫 와이어(140)의 상기 종단 말단(184)과 대응 절연 슬리브(180)는 상기 그루브(168)들 사이의 상기 재킷형 와이어 부분의 폭(246)보다 작은 폭을 갖는 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 케이블(118)의 재킷(160)은 최상부 표면(170)과 최하부 표면(172)을 가지며, 상기 재킷은 상기 최상부 표면과 상기 최하부 표면 사이에서 한정된 두께(176)를 갖고, 상기 재킷은 상기 그루브(168)에서 더 얇은 터미널 조립체(150).
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 그루브(168)는 상기 재킷의 최상부 표면(170)과 최하부 표면(172) 모두를 따라 제공되는 터미널 조립체(150).
