Abstract
Description
도 2: 도 2는 산화-촉매 활성 피막(1) 또는 구리 화합물을 포함하는 피막(2)이 유입구 채널(3)과 배출구 채널(5) 사이의 벽-유동형 필터 기판의 다공성 벽 속에 도입되는 본 발명의 미립자 필터의 양태의 다이아그램을 보여준다. 다른 피막이 각각의 경우에 도 2b에서와 같이 유입구 채널의 벽 속에 도입되거나, 도 2c에서와 같이 배출구 채널의 벽 속에 도입된다.
도 3: 구리 화합물과 귀금속을 함유하는 균질 피막을 갖는 미립자 필터("옵션 1(균질)") 및 산화-촉매 활성 피막이 유입구 구획으로서 존재하고 구리 화합물을 포함하는 피막이 배출구 구획으로서 존재하는 본 발명의 미립자 필터("옵션 2(구획됨)")의 CO 산화에서의 라이트-오프 온도에 대한 평가 결과.

Claims (8)
- 업스트림 구획(upstream zone)과 다운스트림 구획(downstream zone), 및 다공성 벽에 의해 분리된 유입구 채널과 배출구 채널을 갖는 필터체(filter body)를 포함하는, 희박 조건 하에서 작동하는 내연 기관의 배기 가스로부터 황화수소와 미립자를 제거하기 위한, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터(catalytically active particulate filter)로서,
상기 유입구 채널은 제1 피막을 갖는 내벽(interior wall)을 가지며, 상기 제1 피막은 상기 제1 피막을 갖는 내벽의 내부에 위치하고, 상기 배출구 채널은 제2 피막을 갖는 내벽을 가지며, 상기 제2 피막은 상기 제2 피막을 갖는 내벽의 내부에 위치하고,
상기 제1 피막은 상기 필터체의 총 길이의 10 내지 90%를 차지하는 업스트림 구획에 있고, 상기 제2 피막은 상기 필터체의 길이의 나머지를 차지하는 다운스트림 구획에 있으며,
(a) 상기 제1 피막은 하나 이상의 촉매 활성 백금족 금속을 포함한 산화-촉매 활성 피막이고, 상기 제2 피막은 구리 화합물을 포함하는 피막이거나, 또는
(b) 상기 제1 피막은 구리 화합물을 포함하는 피막이고, 상기 제2 피막은 하나 이상의 촉매 활성 백금족 금속을 포함한 산화-촉매 활성 피막이며,
상기 구리 화합물이 산화구리이거나, 분해되어 산화구리로 될 수 있는 전구체 화합물로 함침된 고표면적의 내화성(refractory) 지지체 산화물이거나, 이들의 혼합물이거나, 산화구리와 미처리 내화성 고표면적 지지체 산화물과의 혼합물이고,
상기 필터체가 코디어라이트(cordierite), 탄화규소 또는 티탄산알루미늄으로 이루어진 다공성 벽-유동형(wall-flow) 필터 기판인, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지지체 산화물이 산화알루미늄, 희토류-도핑된 산화알루미늄, 산화세륨, 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 산화물, 희토류-도핑된 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 산화물 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 산화-촉매 활성 피막이 백금 및 팔라듐 중 어느 하나, 또는 백금 및 팔라듐 둘 다를 포함하고, 활성 알루미나를 추가로 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 산화-촉매 활성 피막이 제올라이트 β(제올라이트 베타), 제올라이트 Y, ZSM-5 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 제올라이트 화합물들을 추가로 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 산화-촉매 활성 피막이 하나 이상의 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 산화물 및/또는 희토류-도핑된 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 산화물을 포함함을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 필터체 속으로 유동하는 배기 가스가 상기 구리 화합물을 포함하는 피막과 먼저 접촉함을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 필터체 속으로 유동하는 배기 가스가 상기 산화-촉매 활성 피막과 먼저 접촉함을 특징으로 하는, 촉매 활성 미립자 필터.
- 정화하고자 하는 배기 가스를 먼저 질소 산화물 저장 촉매에 통과시킨 다음, 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 촉매 활성 미립자 필터에 통과시킴으로써, 희박 조건하에서 작동하는 내연 기관의 배기 가스로부터 황화수소와 미립자를 제거하는 방법.
