Abstract
편광판(1)은, 필름형의 편광자(7)와, 편광자(7)에 중첩되는 복수의 광학 필름(3, 5, 9, 11, 13)을 구비한다. 편광판(7)을 관통하는 구멍(21)의 연직도(a/b)가, 0.00 이상 0.32 미만이다. 구멍(21)의 주위에 있어서의 편광 해소부(23)의 폭(W)이, 0.00 ㎛ 이상 32 ㎛ 미만이다.
Description
도 2는, 도 1 중의 II-II 선 방향에 있어서의 편광판의 화살표 방향에서 본 면(편광판의 표면에 수직인 편광판의 단면)의 모식도이다.
도 3은, 도 1 중의 편광판의 표면 중 영역 III(편광판을 관통하는 구멍의 주위)의 확대도이다.
도 4는, 엑시머 레이저의 스폿의 모식도, 및 엑시머 레이저의 스폿의 중심을 통과하는 직선을 따른 엑시머 레이저의 강도 분포이다.
도 5는, 본 발명의 일실시형태에 관련된 화상 표시 장치(액정 표시 장치)의 단면의 모식도이다.
도 6 중의 (a)는, 편광판에 있어서의 광 누설을 검사할 때의 편광판의 배치를 나타내는 모식적 측면도이고, 도 6 중의 (b)는, 도 6 중의 (a)에 나타내는 배치의 모식적 상면도이다.
Claims (9)
- 필름형의 편광자와, 상기 편광자에 중첩되는 복수의 광학 필름을 구비하는 편광판으로서,
상기 편광판을 관통하는 구멍의 연직도가, 0.00 이상 0.32 미만이고,
상기 구멍의 주위에 있어서의 편광 해소부의 폭이, 0.00 ㎛ 이상 32 ㎛ 미만인 편광판. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구멍의 주위에 있어서의 균열의 수가, 단위 길이 1 mm당, 0 이상 3 이하인 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 구멍의 주위에 있어서의 균열의 길이가, 0 ㎛ 이상 50 ㎛ 미만인 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편광자를 사이에 두는 한쌍의 상기 광학 필름 중 적어도 한쪽의 광학 필름이, 트리아세틸셀룰로오스를 포함하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편광자를 사이에 두는 한쌍의 상기 광학 필름 중 적어도 한쪽의 광학 필름이, 환형 올레핀 폴리머를 포함하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편광자를 사이에 두는 한쌍의 상기 광학 필름 중 적어도 한쪽의 광학 필름이, (메트)아크릴계 수지를 포함하는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편광자가 폴리비닐알콜계 수지를 포함하고,
적어도 하나의 상기 광학 필름이 열가소성 수지를 포함하는 편광판. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 화상 표시 장치에 사용되는 편광판.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 편광판을 포함하는 화상 표시 장치.
