Claims (12)
- 배터리 전원을 부하에 공급하거나 차단하는 스위칭부,
상기 스위칭부의 출력단에 연결되어 배터리 역접속 시 상기 배터리로부터 인가되는 전원을 차단하는 보호부, 및
상기 스위칭부와 상기 보호부의 구동을 제어하는 구동부를 포함하되,
상기 구동부는 전력스위치의 외부에 위치하는 제어기의 제어에 따라 부하 구동을 제어하고,
상기 보호부는 전류 측정을 위한 제1FET 및 상기 배터리 역접속 시 기생 다이오드에 의해 상기 배터리로부터 공급되는 전류를 차단하는 제2FET을 포함하고, 상기 제1FET 및 상기 제2FET의 게이트단은 상기 구동부의 출력단에 연결되고, 소스단은 상기 스위칭부의 소스단에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 스위칭부는,
내부 고전압 FET(Field Effect Transistor)으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
- 제2항에 있어서,
상기 고전압 FET은,
N 타입 DMOS(double-diffused metal oxide semiconductor) 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.

상기 제1FET 및 제2FET은,
내부 저전압 FET으로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.

N 타입 CMOS(Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전력스위치는,
상기 제1FET의 드레인단에 연결되어 부하 전류를 센싱하는 센싱부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 제1FET 및 제2FET은,
상기 스위칭부로부터 출력되는 전류를 1:N의 비율로 전달하는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 센싱부는,
상기 스위칭부, 상기 보호부 및 상기 구동부와 동일한 공정을 거쳐 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.

상기 제어기는,
상기 센싱부의 출력단에 직렬로 연결되는 외부 저항을 통해 부하 전류를 측정하고 측정한 부하전류에 근거하여 상기 구동부의 동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 역접속 방지가 가능한 전력스위치.
