Claims (10)
- 분리가능한 커넥터(separable connector)를 위한 자켓 어셈블리(jacket assembly)로서,
케이블 인입 세그먼트(cable entrance segment);
부싱 인터페이스 세그먼트(bushing interface segment); 및
바디 세그먼트(body segment);
를 포함하고,
케이블 인입 세그먼트는 제1 보어(bore)를 포함하고, 제1 보어는 케이블 인입 세그먼트를 관통해서 축방향으로 뻗어 있되, 절연된 파워 케이블을 수용하도록(receive) 사이즈가 이루어지고,
부싱 인터페이스 세그먼트는:
제2 보어를 가진 러그부(lug portion); 및
제2 보어에 대해 수직으로 지향된 제3 보어를 가진 프로브부(probe portion);
를 포함하고,
제2 보어는 압축 러그(compression lug)를 받아들이기 위해 전도성 인서트의 일부분(a portion) 및 절연성 이너 하우징(inner housing)의 일부분을 수용하도록 사이즈가 이루어지고,
제3 보어는 프로브(probe)를 받아들이기 위해 전도성 인서트의 다른 부분(another portion) 및 절연성 이너 하우징의 다른 부분을 수용하도록 사이즈가 이루어지고,
바디 세그먼트(body segment)는 바디 세그먼트의 제1 단부(end)에서부터 바디 세그먼트의 제2 단부까지 축방향으로 뻗어 있는 제4 보어를 포함하고,
바디 세그먼트는 겹치는 식으로(in an overlapping manner) 케이블 인입 세그먼트에 연결되고, 겹치는 식으로 부싱 인터페이스 세그먼트에 연결되어, 제1 보어, 제2 보어, 및 제4 보어가 축방향으로 정렬되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
바디 세그먼트의 제1 단부는 억지 끼워맞춤(interference fit)을 통해 제1 보어의 일부 내에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,
제2 보어를 포함하는 부싱 인터페이스 세그먼트의 러그부는 억지 끼워맞춤을 통해 제4 보어의 일부 내에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 3에 있어서,
제1 단부에서의 제4 보어의 제1 지름은 제2 단부에서의 제4 보어의 제2 지름보다 더 작고,
바디 세그먼트는:
상기 제1 지름과 상기 제2 지름 간의 전환 지점(transition point)에서 쇼울더(shoulder)를 더 포함하고, 쇼울더는 제4 보어 안으로의 러그부의 삽입을 위한 정지 지점(stopping point)을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
케이블 인입 세그먼트, 부싱 인터페이스 세그먼트, 및 바디 세그먼트는 EPDM(ethylene-propylene-dienemonomer) 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
자켓 어셈블리는 절연성 이너 하우징 위에서 전도성 쉴드(shield)를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
다른 바디 세그먼트(another body segment)를 더 포함하고,
상기 다른 바디 세그먼트는 상기 다른 바디 세그먼트의 제1 단부에서부터 상기 다른 바디 세그먼트의 제2 단부까지 축방향으로 뻗어 있는 제5 보어를 포함하고,
상기 다른 바디 세그먼트는 겹치는 식으로 바디 세그먼트 및 케이블 인입 세그먼트에 연결되어, 제1 보어, 제2 보어, 제4 보어, 및 제5 보어가 축방향으로 정렬되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
바디 세그먼트는 상이한 축방향 길이(axial length)들을 갖는 한 그룹의 복수의 바디 세그먼트들 중의 하나로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능한 커넥터를 위한 자켓 어셈블리.
