도 2는 종래의 다엽 콜리메이터를 개략적으로 나타낸 도면이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 다엽 콜리메이터를 이용하는 방사선 조사 시스템을 개략적으로 나타낸 도면이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 다엽 콜리메이터를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 다엽 콜리메이터의 리프를 나타낸 도면이다.
도 6a 및 도 6b는 각각 종래의 다엽 콜리메이터 및 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 콜리메이터를 통해 방사선을 조사한 경우 방사선 세기의 분포와 방사선이 전달되는 영역을 나타낸 도면이다.

Claims (5)
- 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리를 포함하는 다엽 콜리메이터에 있어서,
상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리는 각각 복수의 리프를 구비하고 서로 마주하도록 배치되고,
상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리의 복수의 리프는 상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리가 서로 마주하는 제1 방향으로 이동할 수 있는 동시에, 상기 제1 방향과 직교하고 상기 복수의 리프가 배열되는 제2 방향으로도 이동할 수 있도록 설치되되, 서로 마주하는 상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리가 각기 제2 방향으로 이동할 수 있도록 설치되고,
상기 복수의 리프의 상기 제2 방향으로의 이동은 상기 제2 방향을 따라 측정한 리프의 두께보다 작은 범위에서 이루어지는, 다엽 콜리메이터. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 리프의 상기 제1 방향으로의 이동은 상기 복수의 리프 각각에 개별적으로 연결된 모터의 구동에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 다엽 콜리메이터. - 제1항에 있어서,
가이드 레일, 상기 가이드 레일을 구동하는 모터 및 상기 가이드 레일과 상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리 각각을 연결하는 연결부를 포함하는 레일 어셈블리를 더 포함하고,
상기 복수의 리프의 상기 제2 방향으로의 이동은 상기 가이드 레일의 작동에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 다엽 콜리메이터. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 리프의 상기 제2 방향으로의 이동은 상기 한 쌍의 리프 어셈블리에 각각 구비된 복수의 리프들이 각기 전체적으로 동일하게 이동하는 방식으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 다엽 콜리메이터.
