Claims (7)
- 무선통신 시스템에서 단말에 의하여 수행되는 채널 추정 방법에 있어서,기지국의 복수의 안테나들을 통하여 전송되는 동기신호 및 미드앰블(midamble)을 수신하는 단계; 및상기 동기신호 및 상기 미드앰블을 이용하여 상기 복수의 안테나들 각각의 채널을 추정하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 복수의 안테나들은 복수의 안테나 그룹으로 구분되고, 상기 동기신호 및 상기 미드앰블은 상기 복수의 안테나 그룹에 속하는 복수의 안테나의 결합된 채널을 추정할 수 있는 형태로 전송되며,상기 미드앰블은 상기 복수의 안테나 그룹에 속하는 각 안테나 그룹별로 서로 다른 주파수 톤을 통하여 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 채널 추정 방법.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 동기신호 및 상기 미드앰블은 시간 영역에서 서로 인접하는 OFDM 심볼을 통하여 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 채널 추정 방법.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 안테나 각각의 동기신호 및 미드앰블은 순환 지연 다이버시티(cyclic delay diversity)에 따라 안테나별로 서로 다른 지연값이 적용되어 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 채널 추정 방법.
- 제3 항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 안테나 중 일부 안테나에는 추가적인 지연값이 적용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 채널 추정 방법.

- 채널 추정을 수행하는 단말에 있어서,복수의 안테나를 통하여 전송되는 동기신호 및 미드앰블(midamble)을 수신하는 RF부; 및상기 RF부에 연결되고, 상기 동기신호 및 상기 미드앰블을 이용하여 상기 복수의 안테나 각각의 채널을 추정하는 프로세서를 포함하되,상기 복수의 안테나들은 복수의 안테나 그룹으로 구분되고, 상기 동기신호 및 상기 미드앰블은 상기 복수의 안테나 그룹에 속하는 복수의 안테나의 결합된 채널을 추정할 수 있는 형태로 전송되며,상기 미드앰블은 상기 복수의 안테나 그룹에 속하는 각 안테나 그룹별로 서로 다른 주파수 톤을 통하여 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단말.
