Description
Claims (18)
- 필름 그레인(film grain)의 패턴을 생성하는 방법으로서,(a) 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수(bit-accurate transformed coefficient)들을 설정하는 단계;(b) 상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 주파수 필터링(frequency filtering)하는 단계; 및(c) 필름 그레인 패턴을 생성하기 위해, 상기 주파수 필터링된 변환 계수들에 대해 비트-어큐리트 역변환을 행하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 단계 (a) 내지 (c)는, 필름 그레인의 모든 가능한 크기들 및 모양들에 대해 반복되는, 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 필름 그레인 패턴을 데이터베이스에 저장하는 단계(d)를 더 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 단계 (a) 내지 (d)는 필름 그레인의 모든 가능한 크기들 및 모양들에 대해 반복되는, 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 필름 그레인 패턴을 스케일링하는 단계를 더 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 단계는, 데이터베이스로부터 한 세트의 정수형 이산 코사인 변환 계수(integer Discrete Cosine Transformed coefficient)들을 판독하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 단계는, 필름 그레인의 모든 가능한 크기들 및 모양들에 대해 데이터베이스로부터 한 세트의 정수형 이산 코사인 변환 계수들을 판독하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 단계는,가우스 난수(Gaussian random number)의 이미지를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 가우스 난수의 이미지에 대해 정수형 이산 코사인 변환을 행하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 단계는,(i) 가우스 난수의 이미지를 생성하는 단계;(ii) 상기 가우스 난수의 이미지에 대해 정수형 이산 코사인 변환을 행하는 단계; 및(iii) 필름 그레인의 모든 가능한 크기들 및 모양들에 대해 상기 단계 (i) 및 (ii)를 반복하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 주파수 필터링 단계는, 원하는 필름 그레인 패턴을 특징지우는 필터의 수평 차원에서의 로우 컷-오프(low cut-off) 주파수, 상기 필터의 수직 차원에서의 로우 컷 오프 주파수, 상기 필터의 수평 차원에서의 하이 컷 오프(high cut-off) 주파수, 상기 필터의 수직 차원에서의 하이 컷 오프 주파수를 각각 나타내는 한 세트의 사전설정된 컷 주파수들 fHL, fVL, fHH 및 fVH을 이용하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 주파수 필터링된 변환 계수들에 대해 비트-어큐리트 역변환을 행하는 단계는, 정수형 역 이산 코사인 변환을 행하는 단계를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 방법.
- (a) 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 것,(b) 상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 주파수 필터링하는 것, 및(c) 필름 그레인 패턴을 생성하기 위해 상기 주파수 필터링된 변환 계수들에 대해 비트-어큐리트 역 변환을 행하는 것에 의해 필름 그레인의 패턴을 생성하기 위한 프로세서 및 전용 로직 회로 중 하나를 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 필름 그레인 패턴을 저장하기 위한 제1 메모리를 더 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 것은, 적어도 한 세트의 정수형 이산 코사인 변환 계수들을 제2 메모리에 저장하는 것을 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 것은, 복수의 세트의 정수형 이산 코사인 변환 계수들을 제2 메모리에 저장하는 것을 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 프로세서 및 전용 로직 회로 중 하나가,가우스 난수 이미지를 생성하는 가우스 난수 발생기; 및상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 생성하기 위해 상기 가우스 난수 이미지에 대해 정수형 이산 코사인 변환을 행하는 수단을 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 프로세서 및 전용 로직 회로 중 하나가,가우스 난수 이미지를 저장하기 위한 제2 메모리; 및상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 생성하기 위해 상기 가우스 난수 이미지에 대해 정수형 이산 코사인 변환을 행하는 수단을 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
- 필름 그레인의 패턴을 생성하기 위한 장치로서,한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 설정하는 수단;상기 한 세트의 비트-어큐리트 변환 계수들을 주파수 필터링하는 수단; 및필름 그레인 패턴을 생성하기 위해, 상기 주파수 필터링된 변환 계수들에 대해 비트-어큐리트 역 변환을 행하는 수단을 포함하는 필름 그레인 패턴 생성 장치.
