Description
Claims (10)
- 컴퓨팅 장치의 PoE(power over Ethernet) 사용을 위한 복수의 프로파일들을 저장하는 네트워크 데이터베이스; 및 네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치에 결합된 전력 소싱 장비를 포함하는 PoE 시스템의 PoE(power over Ethernet) 방법으로,상기 전력 소싱 장비가 네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터의 전력 요청을 수신하는 단계;상기 전력 소싱 장비가 상기 네트워크 데이터베이스에 상기 컴퓨팅 장치의 사용과 관련된 프로파일을 위한 요청을 발신하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 네트워크 데이터베이스는 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터 원격이며;상기 전력 소싱 장비가 상기 네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로 전달될 전력량을 결정하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 결정은 상기 네트워크 데이터베이스 요청에 응답하여 상기 프로파일에 포함된 전력 관리 정보에 근거하여 수신된 정보에 기초하되,상기 전력 관리 정보는 사용자 파라미터들, 컴퓨팅 장치 파라미터들, 어플리케이션 파라미터들, IT 파라미터들, 및 네트워크 파라미터들을 포함하며;상기 프로파일은 사용자 우선순위 레벨, 사용자 위치, 사용자 선호도, 사용자 인증을 포함하는 사용자 정보를 더 포함하며;상기 전력 소싱 장비가 상기 전력량을 결정하는 단계는,상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터 상기 사용자 정보를 이용하여 전력 요청이 있는 경우, 사용자의 컴퓨팅 장치들에 걸친 사용자 정보의 휴대성을 지원하기 위해 해당 사용자가 그의 승인된 컴퓨팅 장치를 사용하든 또는 다른 개인의 컴퓨팅 장치를 빌어 사용하든지간에 수신된 사용자 정보에 근거하여 전력 요구 결정을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 PoE(power over Ethernet) 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 컴퓨팅 장치는 휴대용 컴퓨팅 장치인 PoE 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 발신하는 단계는 사용자 식별자(user identifier)를 발신하는 단계를 포함하는 PoE 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 발신하는 단계는 장치 식별자(device identifier)를 발신하는 단계를 포함하는 PoE 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 발신하는 단계는 인트라넷을 통해 발신하는 단계를 포함하는 PoE 방법.
- 컴퓨팅 장치의 PoE(power over Ethernet) 사용을 위한 복수의 프로파일들을 저장하는 네트워크 데이터베이스; 및네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치에 결합된 전력 소싱 장비를 포함하되,상기 네트워크 케이블은, 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터 상기 전력 소싱 장비까지의 전력 요청의 통신을 가능하게 하고,상기 전력 소싱 장비는 상기 네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터의 전력 요청을 수신하면, 상기 네트워크 데이터베이스에 상기 컴퓨팅 장치의 사용과 관련된 프로파일을 위한 요청을 발신하고, 상기 네트워크 데이터베이스 요청에 응답하여 상기 프로파일에 포함된 전력 관리 정보에 근거하여 수신된 정보에 기초하여 상기 네트워크 케이블을 통해 상기 컴퓨팅 장치로 전달될 전력량을 결정하되,상기 전력 관리 정보는 사용자 파라미터들, 컴퓨팅 장치 파라미터들, 어플리케이션 파라미터들, IT 파라미터들, 및 네트워크 파라미터들을 포함하며;상기 프로파일은 사용자 우선순위 레벨, 사용자 위치, 사용자 선호도, 사용자 인증을 포함하는 사용자 정보를 더 포함하며;상기 전력 소싱 장비가 상기 전력량을 결정하는 것은,상기 컴퓨팅 장치로부터 상기 사용자 정보를 이용하여 전력 요청이 있는 경우, 사용자의 컴퓨팅 장치들에 걸친 사용자 정보의 휴대성을 지원하기 위해 해당 사용자가 그의 승인된 컴퓨팅 장치를 사용하든 또는 다른 개인의 컴퓨팅 장치를 빌어 사용하든지간에 수신된 사용자 정보에 근거하여 전력 요구 결정을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 PoE 시스템.
- 청구항 6에 있어서,상기 복수의 프로파일들은 장치 프로파일을 포함하는 PoE 시스템.
