Claims (36)
- 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법에 있어서,제 1 단말 그룹-상기 제 1 단말 그룹의 각각의 사용자는 고유 코드 위상 오프셋에 의해 고유하게 식별됨-에 제 1 의사난수 잡음 코드를 할당하는 단계;상기 제 1 의사난수 잡음 코드를 제 2 단말 그룹-상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 사용자 또한 상기 제1 의사난수 잡음 코드의 공통 위상 오프셋을 할당받음-에 할당하는 단계; 및상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 단말에 상기 제1 의사난수 잡음 코드의 칩 레이트(chipping rate)보다 작은 칩 레이트를 갖는 고유 확산 코드를 할당하는 단계로서, 상기 고유 확산 코드는 직교 확산 코드 및 근직교 확산 코드 중 어느 하나인 것인 상기 고유 확산 코드 할당 단계를 포함하는 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 직교 확산 코드는 월시(Walsh) 코드인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 직교 확산 코드는 분리된 논리 채널을 고유하게 정의하는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 단말에 피드백 채널을 할당하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 상기 피드백 채널은 각각의 단말이 정보를 수신함으로써 후속 통신에 대한 타이밍을 앞당기거나 늦추는 것을 가능하게 하는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 단말은 상기 피드백 채널을 통하여 채널 잡음 정보 및 동기화 정보 중 어느 하나 또는 이들의 조합을 수신하는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단말의 직교 확산 코드의 칩 레이트는 그 단말의 변조 심볼 레이트 또는 순방향 에러 정정 레이트에 비례하는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 단말에 의하여 적응 변조가 사용되고, 상기 직교 확산 코드의 칩 레이트는 상기 변조 심볼 레이트 또는 상기 순방향 에러 정정 레이트에 매칭되는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 변조 심볼 레이트는 단말에서 수신되는 피드백 메시지의 C/I 측정값에 기초하여 결정되는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 순방향 에러 정정 레이트는 단말에서 수신되는 피드백 메시지의 C/I 측정값에 기초하여 결정되는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 단말 그룹 및 상기 제 2 단말 그룹에 하나 이상의 추가 의사난수 잡음 확산 코드를 할당하는 단계를 더 포함하는 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 직교 확산 코드의 칩 레이트는 상기 하나 이상의 추가 의사난수 잡음 확산 코드의 칩 레이트보다 작은 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 CDMA 네트워크의 순방향 링크 및 역방향 링크 중 어느 하나 또는 이들의 조합에 적용되는 것인 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신 방법.
- 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신을 지원하도록 구성된 장치에 있어서,제 1 단말 그룹-상기 제 1 단말 그룹의 각각의 사용자는 고유 코드 위상 오프셋에 의해 고유하게 식별됨-에 제 1 의사난수 잡음 코드를 할당하는 제1 변조기(modulator);상기 제1 단말 그룹에 의해 사용된 것과 동일한 제 1 의사난수 잡음 코드를 제 2 단말 그룹-상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 사용자는 상기 제1 의사난수 잡음 코드의 공통 위상 오프셋을 사용함-에 할당하는 제2 변조기; 및상기 제 2 단말 그룹의 각각의 단말에 상기 제1 의사난수 잡음 코드의 칩 레이트(chipping rate)보다 작은 칩 레이트를 갖는 직교 확산 코드를 할당하는 제3 변조기를 포함하는 코드 분할 다중 접속 통신을 지원하도록 구성된 장치.
