Description
Claims (11)
- 통신 네트워크에서 사용자 장치(UE)와 관련된 프라이버시를 인보크하는 방법에 있어서,위치 서비스 클라이언트(Client)로부터 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)로 위치 서비스 요청을 송신하는 단계(2-2);상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)가 상기 사용자 장치(UE)의 사용자에게 특정 위치 서비스 요청을 수락하거나 거절할 것을 촉구하는 프라이버시 요청을, 위치를 찾고자 하는 사용자 장치(UE)로 직접 송신하는 단계(2-4);상기 사용자 장치(UE)가 프라이버시 응답을 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)로 송신하는 단계(2-18); 및상기 위치 서비스 요청이 상기 프라이버시 응답에서 수락되는 경우 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)가 상기 요청하는 클라이언트(Client)로 위치 정보를 제공하고, 그렇지 않은 경우 상기 위치 서비스 요청을 거절하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 통신 네트워크는 패킷-교환 네트워크인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 사용자 장치(UE)는 패킷-교환 이동 통신 네트워크에서의 패킷-모드 사용자 장치이고, 상기 프라이버시 요청 및 상기 프라이버시 응답은 상기 패킷-교환 이동 통신 네트워크의 게이트웨이 및 서빙 노드들을 통해 상기 사용자 장치와 상기 위치 서비스 센터간에 라우팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 게이트웨이 노드에서 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)로부터 상기 프라이버시 응답을 수신하는 것에 응답하여, 패킷 데이터 프로토콜(PDP: Packet Data Protocol) 활성화 및 전송 신호가 상기 게이트웨이 노드(GGSN) 및 상기 서빙 노드(SGSN)를 통해 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)로부터 사용자 장치(UE)로 진행되고(2-6, 2-8 및 2-10), 데이터 경로 활성화가 사용자 장치(UE)로부터 상기 서빙 노드(SGSN)로, 상기 서빙 노드(SGSN)로부터 상기 게이트웨이 노드(GGSN)로, 그리고 마지막으로 상기 게이트웨이 노드(GGSN)로부터 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)로 진행되는(2-12, 2-14 및 2-16) 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)는 서빙 노드(SGSN)가 타깃 사용자 장치(UE)와 프라이버시 인보크를 수행할 필요가 없도록 상기 사용자가 표시된 클라이언트(Client)에 이미 자신의 위치 정보를 드러내는데 동의했음을 상기 패킷-교환 네트워크의 서빙 노드(SGSN)에 알리는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 위치 서비스 센터와 상기 사용자 장치(UE)간의 상기 프라이버시 요청 및 프라이버시 응답의 교환은 바람직하기로는 IP 보안, 디지털 서명 또는 PGP(Pretty Good Privacy)와 같은 방법들에 의해 인가 및/또는 보안화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 인가 및/또는 보안화는 IP 보안, 디지털 서명 또는 PGP(Pretty Good Privacy) 방법들 중 하나에 의해 행해지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 통신 네트워크는 회선-교환 네트워크인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 위치 서비스 클라이언트들로부터 수신된 위치 서비스 요청들에 응답하여 통신 네트워크에서 사용자 장치(UE)의 위치에 대한 정보를 제공하기 위한 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)에 있어서,상기 사용자 장치(UE)의 사용자에게 특정 위치 서비스 요청을 수락하거나 거절할 것을 촉구하는 프라이버시 요청을, 위치를 찾고자 하는 사용자 장치(UE)로 직접 송신하기 위하여 상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)가 상기 위치 서비스 요청에 응답하고,상기 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC)는 상기 위치 서비스 요청이 상기 사용자 장치(UE)의 프라이버시 응답에서 수락되는 경우 상기 프라이버시 응답에 응답하여 상기 요청하는 클라이언트(Client)로 위치 정보를 제공하도록 되어 있고, 그렇지 않은 경우 상기 위치 서비스 요청을 거절하도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 위치 서비스 센터(GMLC).
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 통신 네트워크는 패킷-교환 네트워크인 것을 특징으로 하는 위치 서비스 센터.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 상기 사용자 장치(UE)는 패킷-교환 이동 통신 네트워크에서의 패킷-모드 사용자 장치이고, 상기 프라이버시 요청 및 상기 프라이버시 응답은 상기 패킷-교환 이동 통신 네트워크의 게이트웨이 및 서빙 노드들을 통해 상기 사용자 장치(UE)와 상기 서비스 위치 센터간에 라우팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 위치 서비스 센터.
