Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 기록매체에 데이터를 기록하고 상기 기록매체로부터 데이터를 재생하기 위한 부재를 슬라이더 뒷면에 구비하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드에 있어서,상기 기록 및 재생을 위한 부재는,상기 기록매체의 데이터가 기록될 영역을 가열하기 위한 에너지를 공급하는 에너지 공급원;상기 에너지 공급원으로부터 공급되는 에너지에 의해 가열되는 상기 영역에 데이터를 기록하기 위한 자기장을 인가하는 자기장 인가수단; 및상기 기록매체로부터 데이터를 재생하기 위한 데이터 재생수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하되,상기 자기장 인가수단이 상기 에너지 공급원으로부터 공급되는 에너지를 상기 영역에 전달할 수 있게 구비된 채널과, 상기 채널을 완전히 둘러싸고 상기 채널로부터 그 둘레로 열이 전달되는 것을 방지하는 부재와, 상기 열 전달 방지 부재를 완전히 둘러싸는 데이터 기록용 폴(pole)과, 상기 데이터 기록용 폴에 자기장을 발생시키는 자기장 발생 수단으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 에너지 공급원은 광원 또는 열원인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 광원은 레이저 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 다이오드는 상부가 상기 슬라이더 윗면으로 돌출된 상태에서 상기 슬라이더 뒷면에 두께의 일부가 박힌 형태로 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 채널은 전반사 특성을 이용하여 상기 에너지를 전송하는 도파층과 이로부터 방출되는 에너지를 상기 도파층 내로 반사시키는 반사층으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 도파층은 상기 에너지 공급원으로 갈수록 그 단면적이 점차 넓어지는 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 반사층은 상기 도파층보다 굴절률이 작은 다층으로 구성된 물질층인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 채널은 광섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 열 전달 방지 부재는 열 흡수층 또는 열 차단층인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 기록용 폴은 연자성체로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 자기장 발생 수단은 상기 데이터 기록용 폴을 감싸고 일부가 상기 데이터 재생 수단과 접촉되는 코일과 상기 코일의 일단 및 타단과 각각 연결되는 두 컨덕터로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 두 컨덕터는 상기 코일을 중심으로 좌우대칭이 되도록 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 재생수단은,상기 에너지 공급원 바로 아래의 상기 슬라이더 뒷면에 구비된 쉴드층(shield layer);상기 쉴드층을 중심으로 좌우대칭이 되게 분리된 상태로 구비되어 있되, 일부는 상기 쉴드층에 내재되어 있고, 상기 내재된 부분은 상기 쉴드층의 상기 기록매체와 마주하는 면을 통해 그 존재가 노출되도록 구비된 제1 및 제2 컨덕터; 및상기 제1 및 제2 컨덕터의 상기 쉴드층에 내재된 부분사이에 상기 제1 및 제2 컨덕터와 접촉되게 구비되어 있고, 상기 쉴드층의 상기 기록 매체와 마주하는 면을 통해 그 존재가 노출되도록 구비된 자기 감응 센서로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 쉴드층은 제1 및 제2 쉴드층으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 컨덕터는 상기 쉴드층의 하단에서 위쪽 으로 확장되면서 좌우 대칭이 되도록 펼쳐진 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 자기 감응 센서는 GMR 센서, TMR 센서 또는 스핀 벨류(spin value) 센서인 것을 특징으로 하는 하이브리드 기록 및 재생 헤드.
