Abstract
Description
Claims (39)
- 어레이 기판과,상기 어레이 기판에 대향하여 배치된 대향기판과,상기 어레이 기판과 대향기판의 사이에 협지(挾持)된 액정층과,상기 어레이 기판의 상기 액정층 측의 표면에 동일한 방향으로 배열하여 배치된 복수의 영상신호선과,상기 어레이 기판의 상기 영상신호선이 배치된 표면에 상기 영상신호선과 직교하여 배치된 복수의 주사신호선과,상기 어레이 기판의 상기 영상신호선 및 주사신호선에 둘러싸인 영역에 의해 구성되는 화소영역에 상기 영상신호선과 평행하게 배치된 선모양의 화소전극과,상기 어레이 기판의 상기 화소영역에 상기 화소전극과 평행하게 배치되고, 상기 화소전극과의 사이에서 횡전계를 발생시키는 복수의 선모양의 공통전극과,상기 주사신호선으로부터의 신호에 따라 상기 화소전극 및 영상신호선을 전기적으로 접속하는 스위칭 소자를 구비하고,상기 복수의 선모양의 공통전극 중 상기 영상신호선에 인접하는 제1 공통전극은 불투명 도전체로 이루어지며,상기 복수의 선모양의 공통전극 중 상기 영상신호선에 인접하지 않는 제2 공통전극은 투명 도전체로 이루어지는 액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 어레이 기판상에 상기 제1 공통전극과 평행하게 배치되고, 그 일부가 상기 제1 공통전극과 겹쳐 있고, 또한 전기적으로 접속된 투명 도전체로 이루어지는 제3 공통전극을 더 구비하는 액정표시패널.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제3 공통전극은, 인접하는 상기 화소전극을 향하여, 아래 방향(下方向)으로 경사지는 표면을 가지는 액정표시패널.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제3 공통전극의 끝부분과 그것에 직교하는 상기 주사신호선 사이의 간격이, 상기 제1 공통전극의 끝부분과, 상기 주사신호선 사이의 간격보다도 작은 액정표시패널.

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 대향기판의 표면에 상기 액정층을 통하여 상기 영상신호선에 대향하고 또한 평행하게 배치된, 상기 제1 공통전극과 전위가 동등한 다른 공통전극을 더 구비하는 액정표시패널.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 다른 공통전극이 투명 도전체로 이루어지는 액정표시패널.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 다른 공통전극은, 상기 대향기판에 대하여 수직방향의 투영(投影)에 있어서, 상기 제1 공통전극을 덮도록 설치되는 액정표시패널.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 영상신호선과 상기 제1 공통전극 사이의 영역에 설치되는 차광부재를 더 구비하는 액정표시패널.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 차광부재가 상기 대향기판에 배치된 블랙 매트릭스인 액정표시패널.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 차광부재가 상기 어레이 기판에 배치된 액정표시패널.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 차광부재가 도전성 재료로 이루어지는 액정표시패널.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 차광부재가 주위와 전기적으로 분리되어 있는 액정표시패널.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 차광부재와 그것에 직교하는 상기 영상신호선 또는 주사신호선의 사이에 틈이 설치된 액정표시패널.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 차광부재와 상기 주사신호선 사이의 틈이, 상기 제1 공통전극과 상기 주사신호선 사이의 틈 보다도 큰 액정표시패널.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 차광부재가, 상기 제1 공통전극보다도 저층에 배치된 액정표시패널.
