Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 기판;상기 기판 상에 형성된 제1전극 및 제2전극 사이에 내재된 발광부를 포함하는 픽셀부;상기 픽셀부의 상기 제1전극에 전기적으로 연결되어 스캔신호를 공급하는 스캔드라이버; 및상기 픽셀부의 상기 제2전극에 전기적으로 연결되어 데이터신호 또는 차지 신호를 선택적으로 공급하되, 상기 차지 신호는 상기 픽셀부에 공급할 데이터신호에 따라 단계별로 설정된 레벨을 참조하여 상기 레벨에 인접하도록 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호를 공급하고, 이후 상기 1차 차지 신호 레벨의 부족한 ±△V만큼 2차 차지 신호를 추가로 공급하는 데이터드라이버를 포함하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 픽셀부에 앞서 공급한 n-1데이터신호와 현재 공급할 n데이터신호를 비교하여 상기 n-1데이터신호보다 상기 n데이터신호가 작을 경우, 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호로 디스차지신호를 공급하고, 상기 n-1데이터신호보다 상기 n데이터신호가 클 경우, 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호로 프리차지신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터드라이버는,하나 이상의 데이터처리부와, 하나 이상의 전류제어부를 포함하며,상기 데이터처리부는, 상기 데이터신호를 상기 전류제어부에 공급하거나 단계별로 미리 설정되어 있는 레벨을 참조하여 상기 픽셀부에 상기 1차 차지 신호를 공급하며,상기 전류제어부는, 상기 데이터처리부로부터 공급받은 상기 데이터신호를 상기 픽셀부에 공급하거나 상기 1차 차지 신호 레벨의 부족한 ±△V만큼 상기 픽셀부에 상기 2차 차지 신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 데이터드라이버는,상기 데이터처리부에 연결되어 상기 1차 차지 신호를 상기 픽셀부에 공급하는 둘 이상의 V스위치부와,상기 전류제어부에 연결되어 상기 데이터신호 또는 상기 2차 차지 신호를 상기 픽셀부에 공급하는 둘 이상의 I스위치부를 포함하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 I스위치부는,상기 전류제어부에 공급된 상기 데이터신호를 상기 픽셀부에 공급하는 제1스위치부와, 상기 2차 차지 신호를 상기 픽셀부에 공급하는 제2스위치부와, 상기 픽셀부에 공급된 1차 또는 2차 차지 신호를 디스차징하는 제3스위치부를 포함하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제2 및 제3스위치부 중 어느 하나 이상은 전류를 M배 부스팅할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 스캔드라이버와 상기 데이터드라이버는 각각 다수개로 형성되거나 하나의 드라이버로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발광부는,유기 발광층을 포함하는 전계발광표시장치.
- 기판 상에 형성된 제1전극 및 제2전극 사이에 내재된 발광부를 포함하는 픽셀부의 상기 제1전극에 전기적으로 연결된 스캔드라이버를 구동하여 스캔신호를 공급하는 스캔신호 공급단계와;상기 픽셀부의 상기 제2전극에 전기적으로 연결된 데이터드라이버를 구동하 여 데이터신호 또는 차지 신호를 선택적으로 공급하되, 상기 차지 신호는 상기 픽셀부에 공급할 데이터신호에 따라 단계별로 설정된 레벨을 참조하여 상기 레벨에 인접하도록 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호를 공급하고, 이후 상기 1차 차지 신호 레벨의 부족한 ±△V만큼 2차 차지 신호를 추가로 공급하는 데이터신호 공급단계를 포함하는 전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 데이터신호 공급단계에서,상기 픽셀부에 앞서 공급한 n-1데이터신호와 현재 공급할 n데이터신호를 비교하여 상기 n-1데이터신호보다 상기 n데이터신호가 작을 경우, 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호로 디스차지신호를 공급하고, 상기 n-1데이터신호보다 상기 n데이터신호가 클 경우, 상기 픽셀부에 1차 차지 신호로 프리차지신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
- 삭제
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 발광부는,유기 발광층을 포함하는 전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
