Claims (6)
- 수정화학기상증착(Modified Chemical Vapor Deposition : MCVD) 공법을 이용한 광섬유 모재의 제조 방법에 있어서,(A) 공정 진행 방향으로 이송되는 열원에 의해 외주면이 1700 내지 2500℃로 가열되는 모재 튜브의 내부로 클래드층 형성 가스 및 염소(Cl2) 가스의 혼합 가스를 주입하여 클래드층을 형성하는 단위 공정을 반복적으로 수행함으로써 클래드층을 소정 두께로 형성하는 단계; 및(B) 공정 진행 방향으로 이송되는 열원에 의해 외주면이 1700 내지 2500℃로 가열되는, 상기 클래드층이 형성된 모재 튜브의 내부로 코어층 형성 가스 및 염소(Cl2) 가스의 혼합 가스를 주입하여 코어층을 형성하는 단위 공정을 반복적으로 수행함으로써 코어층을 소정 두께로 형성하는 단계;를 포함하고,수산화기(OH-)와 상기 석영관 내부로 혼합 가스와 동시에 주입되는 염소(Cl2) 가스는 2OH + Cl2 → 2HCl + O2 의 반응식을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 열원은 100 내지 250mm/mim 의 이동 속도로 왕복 운동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 모재 튜브의 내부 온도는 1800 내지 2200℃ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 모재의 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항의 방법에 따라 제조된 광섬유 모재.
- 제5항의 광섬유 모재를 이용하여 제조된 광섬유.
