Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for generating and authenticating one-time password using synchronization and a readable recording medium of storing a program for generating one-time password is provided to enhance the security by mixing a time synchronization method with an event synchronization method. CONSTITUTION: Predetermined data for one-time password are received from a main server(S560,S570). The received user data are stored into one-time password server. A seed value for generating the one-time password is calculated on the basis of the inputted user data by using one-directional Hash function. The calculated seed value is stored into the one-time password server. The one-time password server downloads a program for generating the one-time password to a mobile communication device according to a user's request. An authentication process is performed by using the program.
