Claims (5)
- 광신호를 입력받는 입력부와, 증폭된 광신호를 출력하기 위한 출력부와, 상기 입력부 및 출력부에 연결되어 입력 광신호 및 출력 광신호의 경로 설정을 하기 위한 입력측 광고립기 및 출력측 광고립기와, 상기 입력측 광고립기에 연결되어, 반사 중심파장을 변화시킴에 의해 상기 광섬유 격자와의 중심파장 간의 차이를 조절할 수 있고, 그로 인하여 반도체 광증폭기의 이득을 원하는 값으로 조절할 수 있도록 하는 인장 조절 가능 광섬유 격자와, 상기 인장 조절 가능 광섬유 격자와 연결되어, 광신호를 증폭시키는 반도체 광증폭기와, 상기 반도체 광증폭기에 전원을 공급해주는 광증폭기 구동용 전원 공급기와, 상기 반도체 광증폭기에 연결되어, 소정의 반사 중심파장을 가지는 광섬유 격자로 구성되는 광섬유 격자를 이용한 반도체 광증폭기의 이득조절 장치에 있어서,상기 반도체 광폭기는 다음 수식에 의해 이득이 결정되어 지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 격자를 이용한 반도체 광증폭기 이득조절 장치.단, Go(λ)는 주어진 파장 λ에서 반도체 광증폭기가 갖고 있는 이득, C(λ)는 반도체 광증폭기가 파장에 따라 다른 이득을 갖는 특성을 나타내는 파라메타, Rtot는 총 반사율이다.

- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 총 반사율(Rtot)은 상기 인장 조절 가능 광섬유 격자의 반사 중심파장과 상기 광섬유 격자의 반사 중심파장의 간격의 차이가 좁을 수록 작아지고, 상기 인장 조절 가능 광섬유 격자의 반사 중심파장과 상기 광섬유 격자의 반사 중심파장의 간격의 차이가 넓을 수록 커지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 격자를 이용한 반도체 광증폭기 이득조절 장치.
