Claims (9)
- 호스트와 원격 유닛 간의 네트워크를 통한 통신 방법에 있어서,호스트로부터 원격 유닛 방향으로 통신하기 위한 제1 그룹의 네트워크 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들(network protocol data units)중의 하나의 유닛을 전송하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 제1 그룹은 Open 프로토콜 데이타 유닛, Data 프로토콜 데이타 유닛, Control 프로토콜 데이타 유닛 및 Close 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 포함하며,원격 유닛으로부터 호스트 방향으로 통신하기 위한 제2 그룹의 네트워크 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들을 제공하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 제2 그룹은 상기 제1 그룹의 네트워크 프로토콜 데이타 유닛에 각각 대응하는 Opened 프로토콜 데이타 유닛, DataReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛, ControlReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛, Status 프로토콜 데이타 유닛 및 Closed 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 포함하며,상기 원격 유닛에 의해 수신된 상기 제1 그룹의 네트워크 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들 중의 상기 하나의 유닛에 응답하여 상기 제2 그룹의 상기 네트워크 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들 중의 대응하는 유닛을 상기 호스트로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들 중의 적어도 하나의 유닛은 기능 코드 필드,부기능 코드 필드, 및 기능 종속부를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 DataReport 프로토콜 유닛 및 상기 ControlReport 프로토콜 유닛은 상태 필드를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 제1 그룹으로부터 상기 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들 중의 상기 하나의 유닛으로서, Data 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 전송하는 단계와,상기 제2 그룹으로부터 상기 프로토콜 데이타 유닛들 중의 상기 하나의 유닛으로서, 상기 Data 프로토콜 데이타 유닛의 대응하는 필드의 값과 동일한 값을 갖는 기능 코드 필드와 부기능 코드 필드를 구비한 DataReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 에어 인터페이스(air interface)를 통해 데이타를 전송하는 원격 유닛과 호스트간의 네트워크를 통한 통신 방법에 있어서,상기 호스트로부터 상기 원격 유닛으로 Open 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 송신하여 이들간의 접속을 이루는 단계와,상기 Open 프로토콜 데이타 유닛에 응답하여 상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기호스트로 Opened 프로토콜 유닛을 발행하여 이들간의 접속을 확인하는 단계와,상기 호스트로부터 상기 원격 유닛으로 Data 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 송신하기 위한 단계와,상기 에어 인터페이스를 통해 상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기 Data 프로토콜 데이타 유닛에 포함되어 있는 데이타를 전송하기 위한 단계와,상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기 호스트로 DataReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 발행하여 데이타 송신 요청의 결과를 보고하는 단계와,상기 호스트로부터 상기 원격 유닛으로 Closed 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 전송하는 단계와,상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기 호스트로 Closed 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 돌려 보내어 상기 원격 유닛이 링크를 단절했음을 나타내는 단계를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 호스트로부터 상기 원격 유닛으로 Control 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 송신하는 단계와,상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기 호스트로 ControlReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 돌려보내 상기 Control 프로토콜 데이타 유닛과 연관된 제어 명령을 실행하라는 요청의 결과를 보고하는 단계를 더 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 ControlReport 프로토콜 데이타 유닛으로서 기능 코드 필드, 부기능 코드 필드, 상태 필드, 및 기능 종속부 필드를 제공하는 단계를 더 포함하되, 상기 상태 필드는 상기 제어 명령을 실행하라는 요청의 결과를 나타내는 정보를 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 원격 유닛으로부터 상기 호스트로 Status 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 발행하여 상기 원격 유닛과 연관된 상태 정보를 보고하는 단계를 더 포함하는 통신 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 원격 유닛이 상기 호스트로부터 에러 명령을 수신했음을 나타내는 Error 프로토콜 데이타 유닛을 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 통신 방법.
