Claims (28)
- (a) (i)식물에서 발현될 때 화분 형성 또는 작용을 저해하는 유전자 산물을 암호화하는 DNA서열,(ii)그 DNA서열의 발현을 조절하는 작동 유전자, 및(iii)유전자 산물을 암호화하는 상기 DNA서열에 작동가능하게 연결된, 화분 형성 또는 작용에 중요한 세포에 특이적인 프로모터를 포함하는 첫 번째 재조합 DNA 분자를 유전적으로 형질 전환될 수 있는 화분 생성 식물의 게놈내로 삽입하는 단계;(b)상기 DNA 서열의 발현의 결과로서 웅성 불임성이 얻어지는 조건하에서 상기 화분-생성 식물을 성장시키는 단계; 및(c) 웅성 불임성 식물의 재조합 DNA의 작동유전자에 결합할 수 있고 전사의 억제를 일으킬 수 있는 DNA 결합 단백질을 암호화하고 전사의 억제를 일으키는 DNA 서열, 및 상기 DNA 서열의 발현을 조절하는 프로모터를 포함하는 두 번째 재조합 DNA 분자를 게놈속에 삽입시킨 웅성 가임성 계통으로부터 얻은 화분과, 상기 웅성 불임성 식물을 교배시켜서, 웅성 가임성인 하이브리드 식물을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 식물에서 가역적인 웅성 불임성을 생성하는 방법:.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 첫 번째 재조합 분자의 상기 유전자 산물이 세포독소인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 첫 번째 재조합 분자의 상기 프로모터가 꽃밥 특이적 프로모터인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 꽃밥 특이적 프로모터가 프로모터 5126의 뉴클레오티드 서열을 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 작동 유전자가 lexA 작동 유전자인 방법.
