Abstract
Description
図7に示すように、上記設定における本実施形態のパッチアンテナは、指向性ビーム幅が垂直面及び水平面のいずれも約85度となる放射パターン特性が得られる。
Claims (9)
- 誘電体基板上に形成されて直線偏波を送受信可能に構成されたパッチアンテナ素子と、該パッチアンテナ素子の周囲に設けられてアンテナの放射開口を小さくするように、内側に傾斜した金属壁を設けたことを特徴とする直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記金属壁は、前記誘電体基板の裏面全体を支持するとともに前記直線偏波の偏波面と平行な両端部においてその先端部間の間隔が狭まるように前方に折り曲げられた折り曲げ部を有する略矩形の金属板によって構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記折り曲げ部は、前記誘電体基板側へ傾斜した折り曲げ部として構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記折り曲げ部の先端間の間隔は、パッチアンテナ放射素子の波長λに対して略0.8λに設定され、前記折り曲げ部の高さは略0.23λに設定され、内側に傾斜した前記折り曲げ部の傾斜角θは65度〜70度に設定されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第3項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記折り曲げ部は、前記誘電体基板周辺から略直角に折り曲げられ、更に途中から前記誘電体基板側へ折り曲げられていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記金属壁は、前記直線偏波の偏波面に平行な面における指向性ビーム幅と前記直線偏波の偏波面と直交する面における指向性ビーム幅とが一致するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第5項のいずれか1項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記パッチアンテナ素子の前面に所定距離を隔てて無給電素子が配置されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第6項のいずれか1項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記パッチアンテナ素子は、前記直線偏波と直交する偏波面を持つ直線偏波による送受信も可能に構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項〜第7項のいずれか1項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
- 前記金属壁は、前記互いに直交する偏波面を持つ2つの直線偏波による各指向性ビームが、一方の直線偏波によって形成される該直線偏波面と平行な面における指向性ビーム幅と他方の直線偏波によって形成される該直線偏波面と垂直な面における指向性ビーム幅が等しくなるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記載の直線偏波用パッチアンテナ。
