Abstract

PURPOSE:To lay cables so that they may be retained at specified intervals, by inserting a cable interval retainer having inclusion sections in the shape of a comb, through the side of another shorter side section, along the longitudinal direction, at a specified pitch. CONSTITUTION:The one-side shorter side sections 14 of flat cables 1 are made to come in contact with auxiliary girders 4 arranged at the specified pitch of a cable rack 2, and the cables 1 are arranged mutually almost in parallel with each other. Then, a cable interval retainer 3 is pushed in the direction of an arrow head E from a position shown in the virtual line of figure, so that the retainer 3 may be fitted between the cables 1 adjacent to inclusion sections 8, 8, and is inserted from the sides of the other shorter side sections 15 of the cables 1, and with fixtures 10, the retainers 3 and the auxiliary girders 4 are firmly fitted in order. In this manner, at every specified pitch along the longitudinal direction of the cables 1, the cable interval retainers 3 as binding units are inserted, and are fixed on the auxiliary girders 4.

The installation method in this case is to first attach the lower member e of the supporting metal fitting to the cable frame a using fixing tools such as bolts and nuts, then lift the flat cable C and attach the lower member e to the cable frame a. The lower end of the cable C is fitted into the fitting groove d, and then the upper end of the cable C is fitted into the fitting groove r of the upper member g.
After fitting, the flat cable C was held in a pinched manner by fixing the upper and lower members g and e using fixing tools k such as bolts and nuts.

Therefore, in this case, it is necessary to manufacture the above-mentioned support fittings, which increases the cost. Also, since the flat cable C normally weighs 41 g to 20 kg per meter, the lower member e must be lifted by hand. The work of falling into the fitting groove d is very troublesome, and the installation work is inefficient.

The method of laying a flat cable according to the present invention is to
After bringing one short side of a plurality of flat cables into contact and arranging the cables substantially parallel to each other, a cable spacing holder having a comb-shaped interposed part is attached to the other short side of the cable. The cables are inserted from the sides at predetermined pitches along the longitudinal direction, and laid so that the cables are maintained at predetermined intervals.

According to the above-mentioned method, the cables can be laid so that the cables are maintained at a predetermined distance by simply inserting the cable spacing holder, and the cables can be laid in a manner that the cables are not placed in the support metal fittings as in the conventional method. This eliminates the work of lifting and dropping a heavy cable to fit it into the fitting groove of the upper and lower members, and the work of connecting the upper and lower members.

The cable spacing holder 3 also serves as a cable binding tool, and has comb-shaped intervening parts 8, 8 interposed between the adjacent flat cables 1, and The flanges 9, 9 at both ends of the enclosing part are connected to the child girder 4 of the cable rack 2.
It is fixed with fasteners 10.10 such as bolts and nuts. That is, this spacing retainer 3 has collar parts 9, 9 connected to both side wall parts 12, 12 of a substantially U-shaped external surrounding part, and the interposed part 8.8 hanging from the upper wall part 13. Fitting grooves 1"x and 11.ll into which the flat cable 1 fits are formed between the side wall parts 12, 12 and the intervening part 8.8.Furthermore, the fitting groove 11 has a width The dimension A is approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the thickness dimension B of the flat cable l, and the depth dimension C
is approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the height of the flat cable 1. Furthermore, the upper end of the fitting 'a11' is shaped into an arc so that the other arc-shaped short side 15 of the flat cable 1 fits therein. Reference numerals 16 and 17 indicate through holes formed through the collar portion 9 and the child beam 4 in order to attach the above-mentioned fasteners 10, respectively. Moreover, when this holder 3 is fixed to the sub-spar 4, one short side portion 14 of the cable 1 and the collar portion 9 are in contact with the sub-spar 4, of course.

Therefore, in order to lay the flat cable 1 according to the laying method of the present invention, first, one short side 14 of the flat cable 1 is laid.
, the child girder 4 arranged at a predetermined pitch of the cable rack 2
... (in this case, the flat cables 1 are placed on the child beams 4...), and the cables 1 are arranged substantially parallel to each other. Then, the cable spacing holder 3 is pushed in the direction of arrow E from the position shown by the imaginary line in FIG. 1 so that the interposed parts 8, 8 are interposed between the adjacent cables 1. , the cable l is inserted from the other short side 15 side, and the holder 3 and the child beam 4 are successively fixed using the fixing tool 10. In this way, along the longitudinal direction of the cable 1, cable spacing holders 3 and 3 are attached as binding tools at predetermined pitches.

Next, FIG. 3 shows a modification of the cable spacing holder 3. In this case, the holder 3 does not use the fixing device 10, but uses a binding member 18 such as a wire, belt, string, etc. Fixed to 4. That is, in this case, the locking groove 19 is formed in the collar portion 9,
The binding member 18 is wound around the locking groove 19 and the child spar 4 to fix the holder 3 and the child spar 4. Further, a cavity 19 is provided in the interposed part 8, and the cavity forming pieces 8a, 8a of the interposed part 8 are elastically deformable in both directions toward and away from each other, and a plate spring is attached to the interposed part 8. The cable 1 is made to have spring properties like a piece, to accommodate slight differences in the thickness dimension B of the flat cable 1, and to securely grip the cable 1.

That is, the installation method in this case is to place the flat cable 1 on the child girder 4, and then sequentially attach the holder 3 at a predetermined pitch along the longitudinal direction from the other short side 15 side of the cable 1. It's something you insert.

Although all of the above-mentioned embodiments show only horizontal installation, this method can of course also be applied to vertical installation, as shown in FIG. That is, one short side 14 of a flat cable suspended from a ceiling etc. is brought into contact with a cable rack 2 erected from a floor surface etc.
After arranging the cables 1 substantially parallel to each other, the cable spacing holder 3 shown in FIGS. The holder 3 and the cable rack 2 are then inserted one after another at a predetermined pitch, and the holder 3 and the cable rack 2 are fixed using the fixing tool 10. In addition, even in vertical installation, it is preferable to use the holder 3 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. In this way, the distance between the cables is maintained even in vertical installations.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments shown in the drawings, and is free to make design changes without overcoming the gist of the present invention. For example, instead of the cable rack 2, a large number of arms (including metal ) may also be used. In addition, except for the embodiments shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the cable spacing holder 3 and the cable rack 2 are fixed, but in this case, the holder 3 is not fixed to the cable rack 2, It is also possible to bring an abutting member made of a strip or the like into abutment against one short side 14 of the flat cable 1, and to fix the holder 3 to the abutting member. Furthermore, in the embodiment, there are three flat cables 1, but of course there are a plurality of flat cables 1, for example two,
You are free to use 4, 6 or 8 pieces; in the case of 2 pieces,
The number of intervening parts 8 of the holder 3 is one, and similarly in the case of four,
In the case of three intervening parts 8, the number of intervening parts 8 is five, and in the case of eight intervening parts, the number of intervening parts 8 is seven. In addition, flat cable 1
Of course, the number of conductors 5 is also free. The material of the holder 3 is preferably a non-magnetic material such as aluminum or plastic.
