Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect excellently a flow of conveyed bodies through simple constitution by forming a convex lense for light emission and photodetection on facing surfaces of a transparent pipe integrally with a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 6 and a photodetecting element 7 and convex lenses 2a and 3a for them are formed on facing surfaces of the pipe 1 made of a transparent material wherein conveyed bodies flow integrally with the pipe 1. Therefore, wide emitted light passed through the lens 2a travels in the pipe 1 linearly and even a flow of a small quantity of conveyed bodies or deviating flow is detected excellently through the simple constitution.

For this purpose, a device that correctly detects whether or not the transported object is being transported properly and issues a signal is required, and an optical sensor is used. However, this invention uses a device that directly configures the pipe wall into a convex lens. This makes it possible to correctly detect even objects that are conveyed in a biased manner or objects that are conveyed in a biased manner.

Next, the flow detection device according to the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. (1) is a pipe, which is made by combining transparent plastic or glass members (2) and (3) with semicircular cross sections. The medium heat part of members (2) and (3) has a circular lens (2a
) (3a). It should be noted that dividing the pipe (1) into parts (2) and (3) and joining them together is just one way of manufacturing, and when forming the lenses (2a) and (3a) into a semicircular shape, It is also possible to cut it into a pipe. Cylindrical holding parts (2b) and (3b) are provided on the outer periphery of the outer surfaces of the lenses (2a) and (aa), respectively, and the seats (4) and (5) are attached to these. , a light emitting element (6) and a light receiving element (7) on each seat.
Camps (8) and (9) are provided.

In summary, the invention consists of a pair of lenses (2a, 3b) made of transparent material on the opposite surfaces of a tahype (1), and an outer side of the lenses (2a, ) (8a). Since this is a flow detection device characterized in that two light-emitting elements f (6) and a light-receiving element (7) are arranged, the light-emitting element (6)
) Since the object is compressed and reaches the light receiving element (7), the light receiving element (7) can detect it even if the amount of the object to be conveyed is small or even if it is flowing unevenly. -Also, the lens (
2Fl) (8a) is made integrally with the pipe (1), so the manufacturing cost is also low.
