Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the low-pass filter characteristic by a simple electrode constitution by providing a dummy electrode between electrodes of an apodized electrode, and leading zero into a tap coefficient between the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Two apodized electrodes 11, 12 are coupled by a multi-strip coupler 13. By inserting a dummy electrode 14 between the electrodes by which a prescribed tap coefficient is obtained, a prescribed tap coefficient 15 is obtained. A band-pass filter is formed to a structure which has been turned back, for instance, by 50MHz, zero is led in between the tap coefficients and a sampling frequency is divided into halves, and also, can be continued by the same code. As a result, a weighted function is realized as the electrodes 11, 12. In such a way, the electrodes 11, 12 of a low-pass filter characteristic are obtained by a comparatively simple structure, and a satisfactory low-pass filter can be realized.
