Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive tape outstanding in flexibility, adherability etc., useful for percutaneous drugs, industrial materials, automobile laces etc., by providing adhesive layer(s) on either or both sides of sheet substrate i.e. a closed-cell type foam of flat porous structure consisting of polyethylene etc. with specific physical properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive tape can be obtained by providing adhesive layer(s) 5-50mum (pref. 10-30mum) thick on either or both sides of sheet substrate, i.e., a closed-cell type foam of flat porous structure constituted of polyethylene or an ethylene copolymer, with an expansion ratio of 2-40 (optimally 5-30) crosslinking degree of 20-60% (pref. 25-40%) and thickness of <=300 (pref. 200-300mum).
