Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate adjustment of balance and max. value of water supply/discharge amount to a live well by fitting by screws an inner valve body for opening and closing of the valve hole at the inner surface of a cylindrical valve chect installed on the bottom plate, and by fitting by screws an outer valve body for adjustment of necessary max. valve hole opening at the periphery with possibility of moving up and down fore and aft.
CONSTITUTION: To adjust the degree of opening of a valve hole 20 of a cylindrical valve chest 19 by a nut 30 as outer valve body, the engagement shaft 38a of a driver 36 is rotated in engagement with a semi-cylindrical notch 31, and now the outer valve body 30 will set the necessary max. opening of the valve hole 20 along a screw 29. When in this condition a driver head 39 is engaged with a driver groove 26 and rotated, the inner valve body 25 displaced up and down along a screw 24, and the valve hole 20 is opened. When cruising is made in this condition, water stream flows into the live well via the valve hole 20 with the aid of an obstacle plate 22 protruding at the bottom plate 12 of the live well and flows out from the other opening. Balance adjustment of the water supply and discharge amount is made with the outer valve body 30, while adjustment of the water supply and discharge amount with the inner valve body 25. Thus the adjustment of the max. water supply/discharge amount as well as balance adjustment of the water supply/discharge amount can be easily carried out with simple construction.
