Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the speed and the economic efficiency of a data bus by controlling the data transmission direction of a data bus in a subcontrol unit by a main control unit for bus drive. CONSTITUTION:Polling addresses are generated for each of the plural central processing units 25, 29. And the following two are provided: the main control means for bus drive that instructs the data transmission/reception direction through the data busses 3, 4, and plural subcontrol means 27, 28 for bus drive that switches the data transmission/reception direction in accordance with an instruction signal from the main control means 26. Data is transmitted from the central processing unit designated by a polling address given by the main control means 26. The plural subcontrol means 27, 28 for bus drive, receiving the transmission/reception direction designating signal of data in accordance with the address, control connections between the data busses divided for each of the plural central processing units 25, 29 so that the designated directions are obeyed in the transmission/reception. In such a way, data can be easily and economically, transmitted/received between the equipments.
