Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently separate an accumulated powdery body, by providing an apparatus for separating a powdery body equipped with a powder-sucking opening at the side of the surface of filter cloth on which the powdery body is accumulated and an air-spray nozzle at the other side in a booth, and relatively moving said apparatus against the filter cloth. CONSTITUTION:An excess powdery body A sent together with an air stream through a duct 2 into a recovering machine 3 is pulled and accumulated on the outer surface of filter cloth 6 by the inspiring motion of an exhaust fan 8. When the surface of said accumulation is moved to the side of an apparatus 10 for removing a powdery body by the rotation of an inner cylinder 5, the accumulated powdery body A is knocked down by the inter-mittent spray of air through a spray nozzle 11 mainly, and the knocked-down powdery body A is concurrently sucked and recovered through a powder-sucking opening 12. The vibration formed by the intermittent spray of air through the spray nozzle 11 assures to separate and recover the powdery body from the filter cloth 6 with a stabilized air stream inside the wind-shielding covers 13, 14 surrounding the spray nozzle 11 and the powder-sucking opening 12.

As shown in Fig. 1, the powder mixed with the air from the booth a is sent through the exhaust fan ff1lc, through the exhaust duct c, and into the recovery machine d.
The powder is collected on the outer surface of the cloth material provided in the collection machine d, or a bell consisting of a cloth material that moves in one direction to the bottom of the booth a as shown in Fig. 2. The body is collected and collected on the bell) f and the collected material is inhaled through the intake port g for another collection 45! A separate type is known in which the air is collected together with air.

However, in the former case, it becomes necessary to remove the accumulated powder accumulated on the outer surface of the cloth member. In order to perform this powder removal while continuing powder twisting, it is necessary to separate the inside of the recovery machine d into multiple chambers and cut off communication with the booth in only the chamber that is to be used for powder removal. As a result, there were concerns that the collection machines would become larger and more complex.

In the latter case, the accumulated powder is continuously suctioned and removed by the suction port, but not all the powder is completely suctioned, and especially the very fine powder may not end up inside the fabric member. Next, after a long period of operation, the mold must be washed, the coating must be stopped, and the static pressure at the powder suction port must be increased to remove the powder from the fabric member. In particular, as the particle size of powder coating materials has become finer in recent years, this problem has become a major bottleneck in the operation of powder coating equipment.

The object of the invention is to obtain a collection device which does not have such inconveniences, and in a powder coating booth deposition type, pressurized air is intermittently applied to the surface opposite to the deposition surface of the fabric member. Powder separation device i-powder coating booth, which consists of an injection nozzle that sprays particles, a suction port that faces the deposition surface, and a wind shield that surrounds both of these to stabilize the airflow. Alternatively, it is characterized in that it is provided in a subsequent recovery machine, and the separation device and the cloth member are moved relative to each other.

In this way, according to the present invention, an injection nozzle that intermittently injects pressurized air onto the surface opposite to the powder deposition surface of the cloth member, a powder suction port facing the deposition surface, and a material surrounding the artist are provided. A powder separation device consisting of a wind shield plate to stabilize the respective airflows was installed in the powder coating booth, and the separation electricity was moved relative to the cloth member and the metal, so that there was no intermittent air flow from the injection nozzle. The air injected into the cloth member knocks off the powder that has accumulated from the opposite side of the powder accumulation surface, and at the same time sucks it in through the powder suction port, so that the powder that has accumulated on the cloth material is continuously removed. It is possible to keep the surface of the cloth member clean at all times by separating and removing it, and there is no inconvenience such as having to stop the mounting device to clean the cloth filter as seen in the conventional example. By providing a wind shield & to surround 8 and stabilize the respective airflows, the airflows of both 1 and 1 are not disturbed and the separation and recovery can be performed centrally.
