Abstract
PURPOSE: A vertical cylinder in which baffle plates are built is furnished in the cultivation tank and the cylinder is connected with the pipe for taking out the culture mixture, whereby a predetermined amount of the culture mixture is circulated stably for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: In the cultivation tank 1, the vertical cylinder 3 is set so that the opening turns downward and at least one of baffle plates 4 are built in vertically. The top end of the cylinder is connected with the pipe for taking out the culture mixture 5. The culture mixture is taken out by the pump 6 and the mixture taken out is subjected to necessary treatment with the device 7 and sent back through pipe 5' to the cultivation tank.
