Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain cellulosic fiber dyed in brown color at high fixing ratio and excellent color fastness to light, perspiration and sun light, chlorine, washing, etc., at a relatively low temperature, by using a specific dye containing monochlorotriazinyl group.
CONSTITUTION: Cellulosic fiber is dyed with a dye prepared by condensing (a) an organic dye prepared by diazotizing a monoazo compound of e.g. formula I (rings A and B are benzene rings which may have other substituent groups; m is 0W3; n is 0W1), and coupling with 1-aminonaphthalene-8-sulfonic acid, and (b) an amine of formula II (ring C is benzene ring or naphthalene ring which may have other substituent groups; R is H or 1W4C alkyl; X is -SO2CH2CH2Cl, -SO2CH=CH2, etc.) with (c) cyanuric chloride. The order of the condensation is arbitrary.
