Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive vaporization of oil in exhaust gas by increasing an exhaust gas temperature and to reduce exhaust smoke, by providing a catalyzar on an inner wall more upstream than an exhaust pipe to be connected with and directly after the exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:A catalyzer 7 formed by letting a metallic particulate having character of an oxidized catalyzer carry extending over a whole length of the internal circumference of a cylindrically molded ceramic carrier is provided in an exhaust pipe 5 directly after an exhaust opening 3 which is more upstream of an exhaust pipe 6a forming an exhaust course than the exhaust opening 3 formed on a wall of a cylinder (a). This catalyzer 7 is held by fitting it in a concave notched part 8 formed by notching the exhaust pipe 5 extending from an upstream to a downstream sides of the same. A temperature of exhaust gas is increased and oil contained in the exhaust gas can be vaporized as the exhaust gas is heated by chemical reaction when the exhaust gas is touched to the catalyzer 7. The oil, therefore, can be prevented from remaining and dispersing into the exhaust pipe 6a, and white smoke in the exhaust gas can be prevented.
