Abstract
PURPOSE:To exactly measure the battery capacity by an output signal of a strain gauge, by providing the strain gauge between a plate and a battery jar of an organic electrolytic battery. CONSTITUTION:A plate 1 laminated by using lithium as a negative pole active material, manganese dioxide as a positive pole active material, and a separator, and a battery jar 2 are pressed into the battery jar in a state that the plate has been pinch-held, and between the plate 1 and the battery jar 2, a strain gauge completely sealed up by a bag of polyethylene, etc. is held in a pinched state. The strain gauge 3 is used by making it tightly contact with the surface of a body to be measured, strain generated in the body to be measured is transmitted to a foil, a resistance variation is generated by expansion and contraction of the foil, and its variation is voltage-amplified, by which the battery capacity is measured.
