Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the ripples of welding pulse current and reduce the arc sound during welding by deviating the phases of making on and off control of respective transistors of a switch group.
CONSTITUTION: In a pulse arc welding device, current i1 flowing intermittently at a certain period is flowed initially to the base of a transistor TR101 by a control circuit, thereby controlling the TR101 on and off and supplying current I1 from a DC power source 1. After a prescribed time, current i2 flowing intermittently is flowed to the base of a transistor 102 by the control circuit thereby controlling the same to on and off and supplying current I2 from the power source 1. Thereafter, currents i2, i4 are flowed to the bases of transistor 103, 104 in a like manner, so that currents I3, I4 are supplid from the power source 1. Hence, pulse current I is the cmposite of I1, I2, I3, I4 and the ripples of waveform are reduced.
