Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out uniform coating without changing a viscosity of an adhesive by a method wherein a main agent is coated on a plate like article by a curtain flow coater and, succeedingly, a curing agent is blown thereon in a spraying form.
CONSTITUTION: A plate like article 1 successively conveyed by a conveyor 2 is introduced into a curtain flow coater apparatus A. Herein, a main agent in a curtain like thin film form is uniformly coated on the plate like article 1 from a main agent coater 7. Next, before the plate like article 1 is entered into a curing agent spray coating apparatus B, a detecting apparatus 21 detects a leading end of the plate like artice 1 and, when the plate like article 1 reaches to a position of a nozzle 17, the nozzle 17 is opened by a solenoid valve 20 and a curing agent in a curing agent blowing device 16 is coated on the coated main agent by spraying. When the detecting apparatus 21 detects a trailing end of the plate like article 1, at a time when the trailing end of the plate like article 1 is passed the position of the nozzle 17, said nozzle 17 is closed by the solenoid valve 20. Thereby, the main agent and the curing agent are uniformly coated on a total surface of the plate like article 1 in a separate manner.
