CONSTITUTION: An acaricide composition obtained by adding an anionic or nonionic emulsifying agent, or its mixture to vegetable oil liquid at normal temperatures. Any drying, semidrying, or nondrying oil commonly in use liquid at normal temperature may be cited as the vegetable oil. Linseed oil, safflower oil, soybean oil, sesame oil, etc. having a saponification equivalent 176W286 and iodine value of 11W214 are preferably used. The addition of low-priced mineral oil instead of expensive vegetable oil is acceptable. 50wt% or less of the blending ratio of the mineral oil gives an economically improved insecticide composition exhibiting no risk of phytotoxicity, having no influence on the growth of farm products.
