CONSTITUTION: In the case where a recording paper 2 is not mounted normally on a drum 1 and the recording paper 2 floats up from the surface of the drum 1, this floating up part comes into contact with an extended wire 6, and a slit plate 7 connected to the wire 6 is pulled toward the drum 1. For this reason, a photo senser 10 which has constantly detected the light from through a slit 7a provided in the slit plate becomes off by the movement of the slit plate 7, and the failure is announced by the lamp or buzzer by this signal, and the operation of the recording device is stopped.
