Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible for the same analyzer to perform various immunological analyses concerning blood by dispensing a regent, as much as a quantity which corresponds to an analysis item, in a reaction container in which a fixed quantity of a blood sample to be analyzed has been dispensed.
CONSTITUTION: Rack 21 of sampler 20 is equipped with sample container lines 22. In sample containers 22AW22D, sample blood separated by centrifuging is contained. A constant quantity of the sample is discharged by dispensation unit 24 from sample container 22A into empty container 22A', where it is diluted to a constant concentration. The sample in the container 22A' is dispensed into reaction containers 27AW27D by sample dispensation apparatus 26. Each reaction container is conveyed as shown by arrow C and reach the 1st and 2nd reagent dispensation positions (b) and (c), where nozzles of four reagent dispensation units 29AW29D, and 30AW30D are arranged for respective analyses. Similarly, samples in containers 22B'W22D' are also analyzed. Those operations are sequentially performed with accuracy in tact-like motion in directions H, V, V', C, etc.
