Abstract
PURPOSE:To simultaneously measure the thickness and eccentricity of a lens or the like by arranging two autocollimators so as to interpose the lens to be inspected therebetween, and inspecting chart diagrams. CONSTITUTION:A lens chuck 7 is provided on a holder for a lens to be inspected, has an opening mechanism to open concentrically with the optical axis of autocollimators 10 and 30 and therearound, and is constituted so as to be able to rotate about the optical axis. Object lenses 16 and 36 of the respective autocollimators 10 and 30 are provided so as to be able to move in the respective optical axis directions and so that the moving amounts thereof can be read through scales, have focal length varying mechanisms, and are symmetrically arranged so as to face to each other, interposing the lens chuck 7 therebetween. By the respective autocollimators 10 and 30, the chart diagrams of chart parts 13 and 33 irradiated by light source 11 and 31 through condenser lenses 12 and 32 are made parallel beams by means of collimator lenses 14 and 34 and focused as aerial images by the object lenses 16 and 36 at the focal position thereof respectively.
