Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A control agent against injurious aquatic organisms containing (A) an N,N-dialkyl-N'-(fluorodichloromethylthio)-N'-phenylsulfamide and if necessary (B) an N-(chloro-substituted phenyl)maleimide or/and (C) a dithiocarbamate as active constituents. The control agent is capable of controlling a wide range of injurious aquatic organisms, particularly Bugula neritina, hydrozoans, burnacles, etc., nontoxic to warm-blooded animals and fishes and will not cause environmental pollution. The agent is used by mixing in a resin solution, coating material, etc., and applying to fish nets or ship bottoms. Compounds of formulas II and III may be cited as the examples of the compounds (A), (B) and (C).
