Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-size key word input device which can put the characters or the like accurately into the keyboard, by securing a viewing of the characters or the like provided at the inner side through an input device of the transparent or semitransparent key coordinate component element.
CONSTITUTION: The coordinate electrode 2 containing a pair of input side electrode 2X and output side electrode 2Y is provided in the same number as the keys on the surface of the transparent dielectric film 7. The electrodes 2X on the same line are connected to the common signal circuits 2X1, 2X2 and so on to receive the different signal pulses. The electrodes 2Y on the same row are connected to the gates of FET6Y1, 6Y2 and so on. Another dielectric film 4 is piled on the film 7 via the spacers 3 and 3'. The counter electrode 5 bridging over the electrodes 2X and 2Y is provided at the position to oppose to the electrode 2. Then a contact is secured between the films 4 and 7 with push of the electrode 5, and as a result a capacity connection is given between the electrode 5 and each of the electrodes 2X and 2Y each. Thus the input signal pulse is delivered to the FET6Y through the 2Y line.
