Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a compact lens of view angle 45.5° and F2, by satisfying prescribed conditions with the five-group five-lens constitution consisting of the positive meniscus lens, the positive meniscus lens, the negative meniscus lens, the negative meniscus lens, and the positive lens.
CONSTITUTION: The positive meniscus lens, the positive meniscus lens, the negative meniscus lens, the negative meniscus lens, and the positive lens are arranged in order from the object side and satisfy conditions of expressions (1)W(7). In these expressions, (f) indicates the focal length of the whole of the system, and N1, N2, N3 and N5 indicate refractive indexes of the first, the third and the fifth lenses for the d-line, and ν2, ν3 and ν5 are Abbe numbers of the second, the third and the fifth lenses, respectively, and R6 and R7 indicate radiuses of curvature of lens faces in the image side of the third lens and in the object side of the fourth lens, respectively, and ϕ1 indicates refractive force of the air lens between the second and the third lenses, and ϕ2 indicates refractive force of the fourth lens. As a result, a compact, high-precision, and standard lens is obtained.
