Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the inaccuracy of position alignment and its laboriousness by correctly fitting the focus axes of lenses to the wear's frame and performing working.

CONSTITUTION: An angle part 2 is provided to the top surface of a plate-form device body 1 opened laterally with the window parts 5 each mounted with a perpendicular moving body 7 having a horizontal slit and a horizontal moving body 9 having a vertical sit 8 in an intersecting state and a hook 3 is mounted thereto. Then, the plate-form device body 1 is fixed by way of its angle part 2 and hook 3 to the front of a suitable spectacle frame 21 mounted with the temporal lenses 16 having undergone templating, after which the spectacle frame 21 is worn by the wearer. The examiner who is opposing face to face to the wearer asks him to see the examiner's left or right eye by the wearer's right or left eye and the examiner aligns the vertical slit 8 to the center of the wearer's right or left pupil of that time by moving the horizontal moving body 9 and reads the scale value of that time with a scale 15 thereby determining the maximum pupil position. Next, the far- and near-sight pupil positions are determined through the movement of the horizontal slit 6 by the vertical moving body 7 and the use of the scale 14 by the similar operations, then the lens of the maximum pupil positions matched accurately to the pupil center may be worked.
