Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an electric range which comprises a card reader/writer so that desired cooking by heating can be carried ont only by inserting a program card with a cooking program recorded thereon.
CONSTITUTION: In a taking-up operation of a program card 7, a magnetic head 8 mounted to a card reader/writer 52 constitutes means for reading cookery program information or for writing cookery program information using its magnetic coating surface 7a. The read-out information will be stored in a storage device (RAM) 11 through a decorder 9 and a microcomputer (CPU) 10, while cookery program inputted through a keying board 4 is stored in the storage device 11, and is then writen on the card 7 through the microcomputer 10, an encorder 12 and the magnetic head 8. A cooking relay 17 and a microwave output control realy 18 are driven by output of the microcomputer 10 to carry out desired cooking.
