Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.結合剤の第1被覆(32)及び防水剤の粒子(36)の第2被覆(34)を 有するガラスファイバーストランド(30)のガラスファイバー強化材料(18 )からなり、防水剤の前記粒子は、前記結合剤が前記防水剤の粒子を完全に被覆 することなく、前記結合剤によって前記ガラスファイバーストランドに接着され る、光ケーブル強化材。 2.1本又はそれ以上の長いガラスファイバーストランド(30)を供給源から 供給し、前記ガラスファイバーストランド(30)に、該ストランドを塗布ステ ーション(50)の中を移動させることによって液体結合剤を被覆して未乾燥の 被覆ガラスファイバーストランドを形成し、 未乾燥の被覆ガラスファイバーストランドを粉末塗布ステーション(60) に通して防水剤の粒子(36)を前記未乾燥の被覆ガラスファイバーストランド る接着させて結合剤の第1被覆(32)及び防水剤の粒子(36)の第2被覆( 34)を有するガラスファイバーストランドを形成し、防水剤の前記粒子(36 )は、前記結合剤が前記防水剤の粒子を完全に被覆することなく、前記結合剤に よって前記ガラスファイバーストランドに接着され、 第1被覆(32)及び第2被覆(34)を有するガラスファイバーストラン ド(30)をオーブン(70)の中に通して前記結合剤を乾燥し且つ硬化させる 、光ケーブル強化材の製造方法。
