[0006] By using the above case, a capacitor bank having a better layout can be obtained than when a cylindrical electrolytic capacitor according to the prior art is used. In addition, the electrolytic capacitor using the above case has a large space volume inside the outer case, so when the internal pressure of the case rises due to hydrogen gas generated during charge / discharge use, etc., it operates when the specified pressure is reached. The operation time of the valve 28 is extended, and there is an effect that the life of the product is prolonged.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a capacitor bank according to the present invention. The electrolytic capacitor 21 of the JIS standard 33 type shown in FIG. The capacitor element 23 is housed, and the opening is sealed by a sealing body 24. The capacitor element 23 is formed by winding an etched and formed anode foil and a cathode foil via a separator, fixing them with a tape 25, and impregnating with an electrolytic solution. A fixing material 26 is filled between the capacitor element 23 and the outer case 22 for the purpose of fixing the capacitor element 23. When the six electrolytic capacitors 21 are put together, fixed with the product fixing band 27 and laid out on the board, the capacitor bank shown in FIG. 1 is formed. Table 1 shows a comparison between the capacitor bank according to the above embodiment and that according to the conventional example.

As described above, by fixing the rectangular capacitor with the rectangular fixing band, it is possible to firmly fix the capacitor, and it is possible to reduce the dead space by reducing the space occupied by the legs as in the conventional example. In addition, the size of the capacitor bank can be reduced. Further, since the number of fixing points of the leg portions and the number of mounting points of the leg portions can be reduced, the number of steps required for fixing can be reduced. Further, since the space volume inside the capacitor case can be widened, the internal pressure rise is reduced, the operation time of the explosion-proof valve is extended, and the product has a long life.

According to the capacitor bank of the present invention, since the shape of the frame portion of the fixed band is square and the square electrolytic capacitor is fixed, the layout is excellent and the capacitor can be fixed firmly and easily. It is possible to reduce the size and to easily attach it to a substrate. In addition, the capacitor used can be manufactured easily and inexpensively with the same sealing technology as the conventional technology, and the space volume inside the outer case can be larger than that of the cylindrical electrolytic capacitor according to the conventional technology. When the internal pressure of the case rises due to the generated hydrogen gas, the operation time of the explosion-proof valve 28 that operates when the pressure reaches the specified pressure is extended, and there is also an effect of extending the life of the product. It should be noted that, in addition to the JIS type 33 shown in the examples, the types of electrolytic capacitors to which the present invention can be used include:
It can be used for a case having a bottomed cylindrical shape in an outer case such as a shape and a shape 04.
