PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carrying out sterilization of water, deodor ization, deaeration and feed of water in stable state in culture of fishes and shellfishes and provide a culturing method using the apparatus. SOLUTION: This water treating method for culturing fishes and shellfishes comprises applying vibration 2 of ultrasonic wave to culture water 1, irradiating ultraviolet light 3 thereto and further applying treatment by ozone 4 and near ultraviolet light 5 thereto.

音波振動は循環水であれば断続的に施せばよく、最低で
も8時間に一回、養殖槽の水が全部循環し処理できる時
間だけ超音波処理することも可能である。
