Abstract

(57) [Summary] An object of the present invention is to obtain a railing of a passenger conveyor having both a step lighting effect and a balustrade design effect. A light reflecting film (11, 12) having a color pattern of a luminous body that reacts to ultraviolet rays or the like is mounted on the surface of a balustrade panel (7) or a deck cover (8) constituting a balustrade (5). An illumination lamp 9 for step lighting and a design lamp 13 for giving a light reaction to the light reflecting films 11 and 12 are provided.
