Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of a raw gas from the inlets of mixing tubes when a gas supplied through one of the mixing tubes is stopped for some reason, by providing a communication path for permitting communication between the vicinities of the inlets of a plurality of mixing tubes arranged substantially in parallel with each other. SOLUTION: A row of flame holes 6 are provided at the entire upper circumference of a ring-shaped hollowed gas burner body 1 which is horizontally located. Two mixing tubes 2a, 2b arranged in parallel are communicated with the lower side wall of the burner body 1. Fuel nozzles 4 are, respectively, arranged face to face with necks 3 (so-called Venturi tubes) which are formed in the vicinities of the inlets of the individual mixing tubes 2a, 2b. A communication path 5 is provided between the necks 3 of the mixing tubes 2a, 2b. Thus, since the vicinities of the inlets of both of the mixing tubes 2a, 2b are communicated with each other by the communication path 5, a mixed gas is sucked from the side of the mixing tube 2a to the mixing tube 2b owing to the Venturi effect of the fuel nozzles 4b which are continuously injecting gas, thereby preventing the gas from leaking outside.

2. Description of the Related Art In general, there is a problem that the gas range becomes large because the mixing pipe becomes longer as the burner burning amount becomes larger. In order to make this smaller, a double mixing pipe burner has been developed. . FIG. 4 shows a conventional burner of this type, in which two parallel mixing tubes 2a and 2b are connected to a hollow ring-shaped burner main body 1. According to this configuration, one mixing pipe is 1 / of the burner combustion amount.
Therefore, there is an advantage that the required length of the mixing tube is shortened and the size of the gas range can be reduced.

However, the above-described double-mixing tube burner has the following problems. That is, in this method, if the supply of gas to one mixing pipe 2a is stopped for some reason (such as blockage of a nozzle hole in a venturi section), the pressure in the other mixing pipe 2b decreases. Through the mixing pipe 2a, the raw gas flows backward through the mixing pipe 2a and leaks from the inlet to the outside, possibly causing fire or gas poisoning. Of course, in such a case, the combustion state is not normal, and the burner is stopped when the user notices it. And the dangers of gas poisoning. Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such a point,
It is an object of the present invention to provide a double-mixing tube burner in which raw gas does not leak from the inlet of the mixing tube even if gas supply to one of the mixing tubes is stopped for some reason.

As shown in FIG. 1, a gas burner according to the present invention has a single burner body 1 in which a plurality of mixing tubes 2a and 2b substantially parallel to each other are connected, or as shown in FIG. The fuel nozzles 4, 4a, 4b are respectively provided at the necks (or venturis) 3 formed near the inlets of the mixing tubes 2, 2a, 2b of a plurality of burner bodies 1 provided close to each other and used at the same time. In the gas burner in which the primary air is sucked into the mixing pipe by the energy of the fuel gas ejected from these fuel nozzles, a communication passage 5 for communicating near the inlets of the mixing pipes 2, 2a, 2b with each other is provided. The side where the gas supply is stopped by sucking the mixed gas from the mixing pipe where the gas supply has been stopped by the gas energy ejected from the mixing pipe which continues to supply the gas. Raw gas from the inlet of the mixing tube and has a feature in that to prevent the leakage.

1 and 2 show an embodiment of a gas burner according to the present invention. A horizontally installed hollow ring-shaped burner main body 1 has a flame hole array 6 at its upper part over the entire circumference. Are provided on the lower side wall.
The mixing tubes 2a and 2b are connected in series. Each mixing tube 2
Fuel nozzles 4 are arranged opposite to necks (so-called venturis) 3 formed near the inlets of the mixing pipes 2a and 2b by the energy of the fuel gas ejected from the fuel nozzles 4, respectively. The primary air is sucked from the surroundings, and the primary air is sent to the burner body 1 while being mixed with the fuel gas in each of the mixing pipes 2a and 2b, and is ejected from the flame hole group 6 and burned by the secondary air. It has become. A communication passage 5 is provided between the necks 3 of the mixing tubes 2a and 2b, and the pressure in the mixing tubes 2a and 2b is always balanced. There is no flow. In the drawing, reference numeral 7 denotes an opening adjusting plate for adjusting the suction amount of primary air.

In FIG. 1, when the fuel nozzle 4 of one of the mixing tubes (for example, 2a) is closed due to some cause such as adhesion of spilled juice or an operation error, the burner body is used in the double mixing tube system. Since the pressure in 1 is generated by the energy of the gas ejected from both fuel nozzles 4a and 4b, when the gas ejection from either one of the fuel nozzles 4a is stopped, the pressure balance is lost and the pressure on the stopped side is lost. The mixed gas flows backward from the burner body 1 to the mixing pipe 2a, and this mixed gas is conventionally mixed with the mixing pipe 2a.
Will leak out as raw gas from the entrance to the outside. However, in the configuration of the present invention, as described above, both mixing tubes 2a, 2
Since the vicinity of the inlet of b is communicated with each other by the communication passage 5, the Venturi effect of the fuel nozzle 4b that continues to eject gas causes the mixing space 2b from the mixing pipe 2a side.
The mixed gas is sucked, and leakage to the outside is prevented. In this case, the burner combustion amount is halved by stopping the fuel nozzle 4a, and the amount of primary air sucked by the fuel nozzle 4b is also reduced by the amount of sucking the mixed gas, so that the combustion becomes slow and the flame color changes. I do. Therefore, the user can easily notice the abnormality and take measures such as cleaning the nozzle tip.

FIG. 3 shows an example in which the present invention is applied to a multiple gas burner used in a water heater or the like. Mixing pipes provided in close proximity to a plurality of burner bodies 1 used at the same time are provided. 2 are arranged substantially parallel to each other, and the primary air is sucked into the mixing pipe 2 by the energy of the fuel gas ejected from each fuel nozzle (not shown). By providing a communication passage 5 for communicating the vicinity of the inlet of the mixing pipe 2 with each other, unburned gas in the mixing pipe whose fuel supply has been stopped for some reason is sucked into a normal mixing pipe to prevent leakage of raw gas to the outside. It is to prevent it. When such a defect occurs, a backfire usually occurs, so the user immediately notices and stops the operation of the burner, but in the meantime, harmful gas may still leak,
The configuration of FIG. 3 is to prevent such a danger.

As described above, the present invention is applicable to a case where a plurality of mixing tubes 2a and 2b are connected to a single burner main body 1.
Alternatively, in a group of burners which are provided close to each other and are used at the same time, when the supply of fuel is stopped in one mixing pipe for some reason, the gas supply from the mixing pipe 2b which continues to supply the gas causes the gas supply. Is designed to suck unburned gas from the stopped mixing pipe 2a, so that it is possible to prevent raw gas from leaking from the inlet of the mixing pipe 2a, thereby preventing gas poisoning and fire from occurring. There is an advantage.
